Christ. Abbott and Scott. May as well be asking Hilts and Bartlett what they thought of Stalag Luft (I'm trying to pitch my references more at the average age group on here)MarcusH26 said:
Andy Scott is Head Of Recruitment there too.Oakster2 said:Ex CAFC Director of Performance Services (Will Abbott) is now the Performance Consultant for Estoril. So he’s either advising Holsgrove for or against I guess.0 -

He really missed Andy Scott19 -
I don’t understand why we are delaying in announcing contract renewals. What is the point in the club delaying announcementsBraziliance said:
I have heard that Ramsay has signed a new contract already.Emason32 said:New contract pending for Ramsay as per Jones quotes on Cawley Substack
I was told Lloydy signed months ago, TC extended before Derby at home even kicked off, and Ramsay has signed a deal already. The person who told me about Ramsay heard it from a very good source.
None of it has been wrong so far, have 0 reason to doubt the Ramsay rumour.
I feel very confident about Charlton Athletic at the moment, and have well and truly been humbled 😂
JRS signing would make it about an 8/10 window for me. If we signed Holsgrove (seems unlikely) looking at at least a 9.
Best position we have been in for as long as I can remember.1 -
Didnt he want to go back to Poland?jams said:Was there ever any more light shed on why Abbott left ? Seemed quite sudden from what I remember13 -
Because they had two days of fantastic engagement and good news and it gives them time to make good videosTodds_right_hook said:

Coventry contract runs out end of season, so far it seems the new formation and players suit him and he’s upped his performances, if he continues I’d like him to sign, maybe NJ wants him to prove himself before the contracts offered?3

Whole bunch of reasons. They can announce it after a win, get some good engagement and content out of it that’s been thought about properly. No real reason to announce it instantly tbh.Todds_right_hook said:

I personally think he has already proved himself many times over the years.Kinsella87 said:Coventry contract runs out end of season, so far it seems the new formation and players suit him and he’s upped his performances, if he continues I’d like him to sign, maybe NJ wants him to prove himself before the contracts offered?21 -

Abbott didn't want to work with Costello.19 -
I’d agree, and if Kayne is getting a contract seems like Coventry should toogringo said:

When we signed Coventry, we paid a smaller fee but gave a large sell on, so maybe thats pushed his importance down the list. I agree though, he looks good and deserves an extensionKinsella87 said:

He hasn’t proved himself as a mid table championship player, which is the next stage of this teams evolution. Granted he’s had a good start to the season.gringo said:

Yea good point, although rumours Kayne is getting a contract and he ain’t even fit yet! To be clear I’d be really happy with them both getting extensions tho, think keeping and building this team is part of NJ plans.J BLOCK said:

Bleddy 'ell, I must need glasses! 😔1 -
Im off to a Rak Sak and crack wax if he signs.5

Interesting about holsgrove. Would love for us to get him but I think Coventry would then be moved on and he seems to have done okay in a better team. Or mwamba would quickly be shipped out on loan.0

Coventry was free but it was a huge sell on apparently they wanted 50% from Wednesday.MeerKat said:

Seems like jrs is a key target but regardless of what has been shared so far or not, if NJ is a big admirer of Holsgrove and we can ship out 1-2 players more than planned for before the transfer window closes, don’t see why it can’t happen. Doc, Knibbs, Apter perhaps all candidates to move on, Knibbs and Apter moreso on loan.3
