Has the Palace lad who was at Wednesday gone anywhere?1

What would be the harm in giving Kanu a chance in our team?Scoham said:

Adaramola? No but he’s a LB so he won’t be coming hereThe Red Robin said:Has the Palace lad who was at Wednesday gone anywhere?2 -
I don't think so, but he's a left back and we look set on that side of the pitch now with Mesík, Bell, Edwards, Campbell, Grant, Alli and Olaofe all comfortable in the various positions thereThe Red Robin said:Has the Palace lad who was at Wednesday gone anywhere?4 -
By the sounds of it "trialist" is mustard and Knibbs is the 2nd coming of Christ.DDOUBLEE said:"WE NEED A CM"
We take a CM on trial, only on trial, nothing signed

So I''m off my bed & washing the sheets. We have been saved.13 -
More of a wingback/winger I’d say but take your point.fenaddick said:

Who are you leaving him out for is the question. The Red Robin said:

Though there’s probably not much between Kanu, Mbick and Leaburn after the first two had good seasons out on loan, but not room to keep them all given our other options.2 -
Not saying start Kanu every game but he’s not had a proper crack at it at all.Scoham said:

If we are playing 1 up top then the gap between Kanu and those 2 is much bigger I think. If we were sticking with a 2 up top system then Kanu would have had more of a chance but I think he’d really struggle as a lone striker in the championshipScoham said:

If he doesn't sign I would just let him walk away for free next summer, unless it's a ridiculous offerstjohnshill said:It’s looking very likely Lloyds contract situation will be sorted before the season starts one way or another
If he does not sign I'd flog him rather than get nothing for him next year.

The value of Jones is far greater to us than to anyone else in the league. I genuinely don’t know which club in our league is taking him and making him a central piece in their defence.14

Telling NJ that he ain't coming here as we are signing shitCafcSteve said:Several people saying on social media that Dykes was definitely at Sparrows Lane today.4 -
I’d take a punt on him if I was a team like Aberdeen but I have no idea what their finances are likeCallumcafc said:The value of Jones is far greater to us than to anyone else in the league. DOUCHER said:one way or another could mean he signs a new deal and stays, doesn't sign a new deal and stays or is sold - 1 of 3 - i agree that if he's sold it will be a big blow but if WHU want to give us £10m and we spend that on the midfield? If they wanted him I would have thought they would have him by now, they can pay a lot more than us, and I imagine a 5 million offer would be enough for us to let him go.If he went I would think it would be to somebody else.1

Lloyd is potentially the difference between us staying up and going down. Surely no one offers us that much for a 30 year old for it to make financial sense20

AndyG said:Is it me or do we seem to be signing quality players that have injury concerns ? Obviously they are available at a low cost compared to the quality they offer but it’s a massive gamble if a few of them are crocked at the same time
Been a similar pattern over the years.

I was hoping last season that Kanu had a league 1 loan not 2, as we would know about his development right now and if he’s ready for championship football. The Red Robin said:

Yes, he had a big row with NJ about not playing for Wales and has demanded a transfer.Valley11 said:Is there anything in Jones not starting tonight? I probably missed it if there is
Some will claim it's just normal pre-season rotation but they are the same sheeple who believe in earth is a globe.12 -

Not surprised, but a bit saddened by that. I still think he can do a job at this level. That being said, I don't know what the fee/wage demands were, and how they compare to other targets. Also, if we are going 4-2-3-1 instead of 3-5-2/3-4-3 then his versatility is less useful.fenaddick said:2 -
Blackburn are in the same division as us so need to be saddened by that.SDAddick said:

Their first signing this summer, and people think we have problems.fenaddick said:
We're fucked if we can't finish above Blackburn this season17 -
Would have kept Fevrier but he didn’t play enough games for us last season to warrant us going in for him again to be fair, still I’m sure he’ll get a good reception if he plays against us again for that Hull goal.6

When you log on and first see Chalobah mentioned in the preseason thread then go to the transfer thread.
