TC was in the top 20 championship wingers for successful take ons per 90. He probably gets the ball a lot less than the players on that list too. Of that 20, only 6 of that group had a better % success rate than TCeastterrace6168 said:

He’s one of the best in the league 1v1, what he needs to get better at is what comes next13 -
TC has a lot of assets in the way he drives forward with the ball, draws fouls and beats his player. And he does track back too.MickeyBennett said:

But let's not pretend he is not effective at beating his man, drawing fouls from opposition, driving us up the pitch with his dribbling. Even on a bad day he would contribute in these areas.
I don't even think his crossing with his left foot is that bad. It's not brilliant of course, but watching the World Cup a lot of wingers these days aren't that great at crossing.
What lets him down is his shooting. The modern winger is expected to cut inside onto his stronger foot, and produce a decent finish. Too often he either hits a defender because he hasn't worked the space well enough or skies the shot.
Fevrier's shooting was better than TC's last season. Going back a few seasons, Blackett-Taylor's shooting was a LOT better than TC's.5 -

Or maybe we just want/need the money a sale would generate to fund other deals plus we need to trim the squad size.
I would hope we're asking for more, and playing hardball. After all, we don't need to sell. And it's a seller's market.0 -

Totally agree. There has always been a lack of conviction in the way he shoots. He does all the hard work then leans back and hits a token effort towards the goal, as if he were kicking a ball off a wall.killerandflash said:

If Ronnie was manager, TC would never have been given a pro contract let alone a 1st team debut.
TC would have ended up playing for Welling Utd or whatever - and being signed by Millwall for £6mil

Jones confirming that nothing imminent in terms of Ramsay, Jones & TC leaving and that we very much want to tie all 3 down to new deals, saying "Hopefully we will have some news very soon" 🤞15

If sold I'd be amazed if we got a million(although we'd never know), and I'd be surprised if he went to a club challenging for a play-off spot.

You have to take into account it was his first Champ season, he spent a fair bit of time at wing back, and he was often our only pacey outlet which meant he had less space to work with than he’ll ideally have.Bedsaddick said:

I can see him offering more this season if he stays - now we can rotate him, he’s gained Champ experience and we’ll hopefully have improved our team and squad. He’d have had an assist last night had Godden been on the pitch when he put that low ball across the box, and then we’d be talking about him showing more end product.2 -
Don’t think we should accept anything less. Young, talented, eye for goal and all round ability. Not sure he will make Championship just yet, but the potential is certainly there.Crispywood said:Also had confirmation Kanu is up for 1M
