Interested to hear what comes out of the presser allegedly happening today, would love to hear something promising about incomings but might be building myself up to disappointment1

NJ when asked are we about to sign DykesMendonca In Asdas said:

How does one become an ITK?
So far to me it seems fairly simple, just occasionally suggest something might be happening then disappear for a bit8 -
And wages budgetFishCostaFortune said:
I get that - but I don’t think it always works like that in practice. I think a lot more is taken into account including how having a bloated squad can affect training/team morale etc.arny23394 said:
We don’t have to get rid of players to sign someone. We can buy as many players as we want, but we can only register 25 of them.FishCostaFortune said:I wonder if Tanto going out, means will be announcing an incoming?1 -
If we had Leaburn over Dykes last season we could be in league one .. Dykes done very well .. Anderson was not good enough anyone can see that rather have you over Campbell ..DDOUBLEE said:
We know you would Ronnie. Just like you'd rather have Apter over Campbell, JRC over Anderson, and so onRonnieMoore said:Still rather have Dykes then Leaburn ..3 -

We are keeping our powder dry because nobody is available worth spending big money on, or something like that.YannTheMann said:Interested to hear what comes out of the presser allegedly happening today, would love to hear something promising about incomings but might be building myself up to disappointment2 -
Interesting to see Samuel Edozie available from Southampton on a loan.
Local lad (Lewisham area, went school in Bexleyheath) Still only 23 years old
Used to be in Millwall academy, tricky quick winger although predominantly a LW who likes to cut inside (how many of those do we have now). Has played on the RW but could not tell you if as effective.
But could be an interesting one to see if we're interested. Was at Southampton when NJ was there also.

Just realised i wrote the 2nd to last sentence like a right idiot. Interesting to see if interested

I hope so especially when NJ was interviewed about going back in for Dykes with an improved offer and he said we have six strikers so one would have to go before we get one in. So with us missing out on Dykes who is going to be the Striker and with no official news on Kelman and his return we need someone in asap…oh he better be good now Ross Stewart that would be a HUGE statement of intentFishCostaFortune said:I wonder if Tanto going out, means will be announcing an incoming?0 -
I remember seeing a clip of Saints training when NJ was there and the thing that I’ve always remembered is when NJ screams “LOVE IT SAM EDOZIE” 😂AshleyAcott said:Interesting to see Samuel Edozie available from Southampton on a loan.

Our RW option doesn't HAVE to be left footed, you know. Ideally it'll be a Quaresma type who can cross with his right, and also cut in and trivela it into the top corner, also with his right. A man can dream4

StJohnsHill & Gavin Carter are the same person? explains how he knows stuff!!!Henry Irving said:

I've totally lost count of when or where these things were said
StJohnsHill & Gavin Carter both indicated someone was very close but in retrospect, feels deliberately vague. We live in hope!

Exactly. Get over it. He’s OK as a sub or backup in this league. Nothing else. He won’t regularly start for them.DDOUBLEE said:
Because he's signed for them lot. If he signed for anyone else it'd be "never mind"The Red Robin said:Yesterday: no one wants Dykes back.
Today: Dykes is the new Haaland because he’s signed elsewhere.1 -
I hope I don't see the same people who accuse people of bed wetting and being impatient panicking over Lyndon bloody Dykes, he's bang average. Less than 100 goals for club and country in a 13 year career at 11 different clubs, over around 500-550 appearances, something like 0.16 goals a game?
The very definition of a journeyman striker. We can and should be doing better. He will be a fringe player for Millwall, nothing more.
Thanks for his contributions, good luck to him.16 -
Orient perhaps looking for multiple strikers to replace Ballard? Wednesday have Burstow, Harry Gray , Jamal Lowe and Charlie McNeil as central options.2

Not sure Charlton management would agree with you hence why he was offered a new deal by us. Billion times better than Leaburn!Braziliance said:I hope I don't see the same people who accuse people of bed wetting and being impatient panicking over Lyndon bloody Dykes, he's bang average. People think that because he's signed for Millwall he's automatically a great player now. He did a job for us but he is bang average.Braziliance said:I hope I don't see the same people who accuse people of bed wetting and being impatient panicking over Lyndon bloody Dykes, he's bang average. Still leaves us very unbalanced though with loads of left sided options. I’d rather have had Edozie than Alli but it’s a bit late for that nowTheNotoriousBWP said:

I'd have George Wickens any day of the week over Kaminski, and I reckon Jack Moylan (now signed for Cardiff funny enough) & Rubin Colwill walk into our team, Cardiff also have a couple of tidy defenders.
Saying their squads are better is a stretch, but I don't think we are exactly head and shoulders above them either to be honest.0 -
