    If you are expecting us to sign a winger with pace, 1v1 ability and proven end product at championship level then you are going to be disappointed. Any player with all of that is costing £10m. Like with TC, we have to find players with the attributes we like and hopefully develop them into players that put up better numbers

    He played at RWB for a lot, if not most, of the season in a struggling team so his output is always going to be poor. But he works hard, is young and is the player Oxford fans are terrified of losing. Is he a top end Championship winger? Not yet but for what we can probably afford he’d be a good signing and has the potential to be sold on for a decent fee

    If we signed Redmond my bed would be wet, and not in a good way. 

    Think there is absolutely no chance we sign him though

    Totally agree, he just didn't seem like somebody to get excited about based on his stats. But with the context that he often played as a rwb it makes a lot more sense.

    Perhaps this is one for a loan.  Ceadach O’Neil at Arsenal is highly regarded and can play either wing. Knows where the goal is too.

    The fact he can operate at RWB makes him for me, my preferred choice of all the names mentioned (I know he hasn’t been linked but he’s been spoken of a fair bit)

    As we all know we will revert to 5 at the back at some point. At this rate probably by early September.

    Well bowl me over with a feather I did not think his loan would be in this division.

    I do think there's a player with some commendable attributes in there. Good work rate, good pace, seems to be a good low crosser of the ball based on limited evidence. I just don't think he can play up front on his own and isn't nearly good enough for the wing for us. He's kind of not quite a 9 not quite an 11. Good luck to him, but not too much because I think Lincoln will be down there with us!

    I think Lincoln are just happy to be here tbh. Doubt their fans are expecting anything other than relegation and to tick off some bigger grounds

    I’d imagine they’ve done it based on how he performed against them in league one. I’m pleased they’re signing him though as it suggests they’re struggling to recruit better.

    Good luck Tanto . It’s baffling as to why Jones signed him in the first place considering the formation he used last season . The same can be said for Apter .

    When Tanto most on here were excited as he bullied Ramsay the year we were promoted.  He had promise but nothing came of it other than a few flashes.

    They’ll be paying a decent portion of his wages hopefully. 

    Question remains what do Lincoln see in him that would warrant them thinking he can help them this season that we don’t

    He played six minutes in a 1-0 loss against them last season. He did score against them in both games the previous season for Stockport though, one win and one loss

    That we don't *now*. We also thought he'd be decent for the step up, there must be some reason. I just don't know what
