Interesting that they let McNamara go, and basically brought Osei-Tutu in as his replacement. The same age too.

Where did you get this impression? I think most people are accepting Jordi is just cover and the contract is only until the end of the season so it’s extremely low risk. Danny probably wanted a longer contract and to play more minutes. To get that he had to drop down a level.

All the comments I saw on the social media announcements were along the lines of "so we could have kept Danny?". Obviously the algorithm loves a negative comment and it's social media so not necessarily representative but I thought it was interesting nonetheless

Think you'll find he's at exactly the same level as last season

Morsy is a decent signing from Blackburn but only making 2 others is bleak given how poor they were last season. Keeping hold of Cantwell and Ohashi is huge though. Surprised Cardiff have only signed 2 players although expect them to be fine next season
Mate of mine who's a big Bristol City fan reckons Morsy was very shit for them

But he was terrific for Ipswich

8 match ban for biting a Blackburn player, 9 match ban for racially abusing a Burnley player and a red card for headbutting a Hull player.

I guess the food is better in Genoa than Burnley so maybe he won’t be so desp

When not suspended he scored two goals against us in the FA Cup January 2025.

Not sure I'd be happy with that if I was a Lincoln fan.

    Wrexham in for Pavel Šulc???

That seems absurd to me. He's easily the best current Czech player (not saying that much at present, mind), had a stellar season when he joined Lyon from Viktoria a year ago for £8m, not least in European matches, which, last time I looked, Wrexham won't be in. I just can't imagine why he'd drop down to the second division, no matter how much money they wave at him. He's easily good enough to play for a Prem. side, and I'd say his game would be largely wasted in our division. I'm not saying he can't do it on a cold November night at Stoke, but I have no idea why he'd want to.

They may be in for him but is he interested in them, maybe not. Wrexham haven't been very busy this summer as far as I know, a cynical person might wonder if this is a bit of bread and circus stuff to try and placate the plastics.

Imagine the meltdown on here had we signed 3 strikers all from League 1 in one window

Quite a lot of comments btl unkindly suggest his agent may have dropped Pete a little incentive to stir up more interest. Czech commentators don't believe Šulc particularly wants to go anywhere, the problem is Lyon have once again got big financial issues. Consensus is the price tag is £40m, and then his wages. Wrexham doesn't resonate much with Czechs either. Nobody I know has watched the Disney series. Charlton still has much greater name recognition than Wrexham.

To be fair our business last summer was mainly signing league one players

We were a newly promoted side though, not an established Championship one.

They also signed Tickle from Wigan as their No 1 keeper, so I can imagine a few Brizzle fans wondering if Skubala signing so many players he played against last season is a good thing or not.
