Preston have completed a deal for Stan Mills from Oxford on a three year deal
Seems to be happening now as well, rather than the weird "He only signs from January" deal that was originally the case

West Ham signed JWP from Southampton for £30 Million just three years ago.

Will likely be going back to Southampton tomorrow for £800,000.

I know JWP has been on the decline but even if he's not starting every week what he gives in terms of leadership and knowing the club inside out makes that a bit of a bargain for Saints.

Obviously we all know that transfer make no sense but £300m down to £800k in 3 years I would expect him to have had atleast one leg amputated for that drop !!!

On an unrelated note reading this morning that Chelsea have agreed terms with Villa for Martinez for £7.5m !! that seems cheap ????

Villa don't want him any more, Chelsea need him, plus these two clubs seem to be doing a lot of business recently so maybe theres a bit of quid pro quo going on regarding another deal.

Villa appear to have hijacked a Liverpool move for Ibby Mbaye. Is it a conundrum of maybe, maybe not?

Liverpool pulled out a few weeks ago because they were being quoted a higher fee than agreed for a sale to Germany. Villa's crack transfer team have paid the inflated fee

By signing a guy who statistically can't save the ball?

Think I'd be sticking with Jack Bonham in goal over Bazunu

Maybe Bolton have decided their best hope lies with having an extra deep-lying playmaker, because that is all Bazunu is good for

They’ve signed a lot of experienced players and I think they’ll stand a good chance at staying up which I didn’t think earlier this summer.

Just a shame from their point of view that Bazunu isn't very good.

I wouldn't say a good chance necessarily but definitely more of a chance than they had a month ago.

Dobson in a Russell Martin side would be erm interesting. Then again Martin could be gone in a few weeks.
