Even if it was as high as 15,000 actually in attendance (or the full 17,256) it’s still a bit underwhelming after winning our first couple of matches. I watched the highlights back yesterday and the west stand looks really sparsely populated on TV. Not sure what can be done now, but it feels like we’re missing a chance to build our attendances whilst there an air of positivity (and genuinely half decent football).

I think the issue is that every game has been attendable so far (if you have enough points or decided to go in the home end). It isn't cheap. If we get decent points on Wedneday and Saturday (over 2) , I expect a bumper crowd for the QPR game.

I assume they count the season ticket holders and many didn't brave the weather or were in foreign parts.
I went to the Preston bowler hat day last season when they had a bigger turn out and Charlton snatched a defeat from the Jaws of victory.

I agree with your points but QPR is midweek so that won't be bumper. Pompey on the following  Saturday ought to be if we carry on picking up points between now and then.

Great to get the win, made up for spurs midweek selection. 

Would have been nicer to get a few more goals but that’s being picky. 

Preston look one of the clubs that we need to finish in front of.

Very good player? League One at best. Struggled to get into Wimbledon's team at times last season.

This keeps getting repeated on here, but Asiimwe played 35 games last season and was also injured for a short period. 

Doesn’t leave much space for struggled to get in the team. 

According to Transfermarkt, started 27 games, came off the bench 8 times, left on the bench 11 times, so seems to have been in every match squad.

And obviously peddled by those that didn't even watch highlights of the games he played.

Pricing is so wrong. Didn't get a season ticket as doing a renovation and can't commit to getting to enough games but at £36.50 a game (with booking fee) I have to seriously think about whether to go or whether that would be better spent towards bathroom fittings. 

Have friends with babies in similar positions. Everyone is squeezed at minimum £40 with travel even if you're close and that's before food and drink you're gonna put off a load of on the fencers

The attendance wasn't great (couldn't believe how sparse the West Stand looked a few minutes before kick off) but it was skewed by Preston having a fairly small away support. Most teams will bring 1-2k more than them.

The pricing is a joke tbh. It should be £30 max including the 'booking fee'. I think it's well cheeky the booking fee. 

The covered lower should be £20. Covered upper, west and east far sides £25. Pitch central £30. Fair pricing, more people would go. 

I don't blame anyone for not going. If you don't have a season ticket, you could go on a decent holiday instead if you avoided 5 home games.

Obviously if you support Charlton you'll go regardless of the price, but they need to consider people who aren't as committed. They especially need to consider the pricing when it gets to winter time and people want to start watching online instead.
