I think you have to give that as a red, deliberate elbow there. No yellow given, so I hope we appeal
  • Sky TV has lost live pictures…….no showing action from around 20th minute.
Turn it off mate, just gets worse as the half goes on

If it was only one or two who didn’t turn up it’s annoying but I get it. Genuinely today, nobody is going to come out with any credit.

My sky sports just froze, went black, and restarted but at 1-0 down. I’m not watching that for a second time. Was painful enough first time around.
  • Don’t believe we dropped Coventry and Mcmamara - been possibly our best 2 players this season and then bring in JRC who gets out of breath running more than 5 yards . We always lose when JRC starts - look at last season as well . Like playing with 10 men
  • Surely one of the worst half's in a long time.

Somebody should check we got the right Ouma and not his useless twin brother.

massive damage psychologically - and I'm just talking about myself -

Let's smash up the changing rooms and damage the plumbing

    absolutely raging

  • Think pile on justified. He’s pass the ball to a Stoke player about 4 times in the first 30 mins

I assume that I won’t get a text immediately at full time urging me to buy a match ticket this week then. ☹️

I don't think the midfield is actually much of an issue overall, it's just today we've decided to play a clever but pretty immobile number 10 with a guy that's just come into English football, and a guy that's spent the majority of the last 2 seasons losing matches, and then missed 3 games early on in the season due to suspension.

One of them starting with our normal midfield would be fine, but not all 3 at the same time

What did he actually give the pen for? No one around me seems to know.

Ouma and Stoke player hugging and tussling, Ouma ended up dumping the stoke boy to the ground and pen.

The sort of stuff you see all the time from corners and rarely see given.
Normally it’s tussling and 50/50 but in my opinion Ouma was all over him, dragged him down. Am I the only one who isn’t shocked it was given?

It's shocking in that we see it so often but rarely given, always get a cheeky cuddle in the middle at crosses, blow up, have a word, tell them next time its a foul either way, retake the corner.

There's going to be people looking purely at the stats this game and claim it's relatively even despite the 4-0 scoreline.
We played well (won set-pieces) for 10 minutes. After that it's been woeful.

My only question why change both centre midfielders ??? …. This is what happens when you don’t have Coventry in the side … all he had to do change one of them …

As long as we learn and stop wrapping them in cotton wall and making stupid numbers of changes again.

Momentum is everything in this league and this has just flat out not worked.

We cocked up team selection all ends up. Never again please

A catastrophic first half defensive performance.

All the more galling, given that it’s against a limited Stoke side and their unpleasant, aggressive supporters.

It was the penalty what done it.

Question is what changes will he make at half time. Anything worth a go I suppose.

Also 4 shots on target for them, 4 nil up, you have to ask questions of Okonkwo when you see stats like that

Personally I think the ref has totally changed that game. A shocking penalty decision that completely swung the momentum.
No booking for their number 9 after he deliberately looked then smashed Jones.
Get through second half without any injuries or suspensions and get back to London is about the best we can hope for at this stage.

  • There was I thinking the first half at Stoke last season was gruesome. Just hope we avoid injuries because some of these Stoke players are looking to hurt people.

Never mind the squad rotation, when we play Stoke, Saints etc we should rest the manager and let Fleming take charge instead.

Need a big response on Wednesday now, against a team in good form.

Worst refereeing performance I’ve seen a very long time but our head completely went off the back of it, just like it did against Southampton around this time last season. If we lost this 1-0 the referee would have a case to answer but he can just shrug his shoulders and do what he wants now.

The weird thing is that we have had more possession!
