Too many mistakes, no attacking nousFair play to Cardiff who looked comfortable as a team, lots possession, nice passing. Not CAFC - been found out and need another approach3

Thing is he didn’t work hard today. Leaburn covered for him defensively so many timesDDOUBLEE said:Grant stayed on because he "works hard" , that's the only metric Nathan Jones cares about with attacking players. If Moylan played for us, he wouldn't even be involved because he would have pissed NJ off for only attacking back 55 times instead of 560 -

I agree. But we all know for a fact that Grant would be the last player he'd take off even when it's going horrifically badfenaddick said:

Who is Doc playing for at the moment? Loved his effort but he isn’t what we are missing with all due respect.Chunes said:
We have no midfield with or without Docherty. He was not the answer and unfortunately, it looks like his replacements aren't either.LittleAddick said:By no means is Docherty the answer, but we were a little arrogant to presume we had a good enough squad to let him go for free.3 -
Enjoy the break everyone. Gonna be a long season.Over and out for a bit x1
-
I have the same sense of dejection I had last season where I’m on the verge of being totally disengaged because I have no faith in us to score goals…10
-
Why does every team have someone who can ping/bang/smash a blokes shot towards goal where as our lot of minge fucks can’t strike a ball worth a wank15
-
No, he's not the solution one bit. But I've not seen anything from Ouma or Skipp to suggest they are better. Mwamba has been en completely dropped from the squad because he had a shaky game against West Brom which was still nowhere near as bad as Ouma and Skipp todaySword65pf said:

C’mon Dazzler, we were terrible mate. No excuses today.Dazzler21 said:Personally didn't think we were nearly as bad as people are making out.
We had good opportunities to score. They have have a good XG this season and they showed why. They're all willing to have a go - Which luckily we had Okonkwo or it'd have been more.
For me I'd have preferred we tested one of our own youth defenders than taking on one that everyone else thought would be the shit. Because he's just shit.14 -

And from watching that game, how on earth have we recruited the likes of Alli, Bindon and Ouma.
Alli was simply appalling today - in fact more than that, he was a liability because every time he was involved he lost the ball or simply stood and watched. A million pounds for him - Laughable!
Ouma is a dud. Full stop. Who on earth scouted him and thought he was Championship standard?
And Bindon has just been absolutely hopeless. As well as being completely inept in defence, in three of the games he has played he has been caught in possession and nearly cost us a goal each time.
More wasted money.10 -
But we were told what a good squad of players we have now assembled and how stronger we are .
What a load of Bullshit.6 -
Ouma was truly dreadful and the rest of our midfield completely outplayed and bypassed, not 'very good' but maybe 'very good for nothing'.RonnieMoore said:You can’t plan for individual mistakes Jones and Bindon third goal wins any game was excellent strike .. yet Grant makes it 2-2 and who knows .. I think we need to go back to our 352 away from home we are two open …. but now it really shows up the two poor ref decsions v QPR and Pompey …. But still have 12 points now we have time to get players back and be in a better place after the international break ..
Ouma done ok when he come on again Skipp and Coventry were very good but outnumbered at times .. good to see Kelman on the shoulder of the last defender that’s what we missed ..2 -
Why didn't we give Jnr Nkeng at least ten minutes to see what he can do . It's pointless to keep carting him around and not giving him a chance . He obviously has no faith in Knibbs4

I'll let someone else answer this one for onceBedsaddick said:Why didn't we give Jnr Nkeng at least ten minutes to see what he can do . It's pointless to keep carting him around and not giving him a chance . He obviously has no faith in Knibbs2 -
And owners looking to get out.sammy391 said:Poor football

Getting bored of the NJ bluster of evolution- we haven’t improved since this time last year, and wasted another years budget whilst we’re there! No goals in us, no grit either - we look like cannon fodder. Our home form is going to be HUGE this year!Unfortunately seems like everything in SE7 is falling apart - attendances down, dross in the kiosks & bars, club shop not at it, and the football recruitment and then the team floundering.
depressing4 -
He is a striker/forward player, he had a great chance to change the game and provided the same shit as he had for the rest of the game, he needs to step up.fenaddick said:

Terrible performance. Good that we have the reset of the international break. I see what Jones is trying to achieve (basically the same as Cardiff in many ways) but we do not have the players. Look at how Cardiff set up, how they can buidl from the back and then compare it to what we have.
Bindon does not fit into that. Lacks any footballing ability and football iq. And Ouma too poor on the ball to be in the squad from what we have seen so far.
Alli is hit and miss but we need stability there.
But what worries me the most is that we dont seem to have any creativity in midfield which we knew from last season but we failed to solve that. Carey and Knibbs are not the answer and how shit must they be in training to be behind Ouma?
Only positive is that Josh Edwards is back. And Mesik played three different positions which in itself is shit but he did well everywhere I think.

What it does highlight is the two very poor decsions in our last two games that cost us max points …1

Had to take my second dose of anti-cholera medication as soon as I got up for an upcoming work trip - that was by far the highlight…1 -

Very poor performance. We don't create chances and our defending which was our strong point last year is no longer the case. Our squad is looking worse each week glad we've got 3 week break now1
-
Not a lot to add really. Poor team performance, poor individually. No positives other than another TC goal and Josh coming on late on. Interesting to hear what NJ will have to say after this.0
-
We were poor but still a solid start to the season. We have players to come back and others that will get back up to speed during the break that will improve us. Don’t know why but also feel Ouma will come good. Can’t believe the over reaction of some on here COYR7

Three points from 15 is disappointing, but it’s still a decent start to the season. Koumetio and Chalobah clearly formed a vital part of our early-season spine.Without them, and without last season’s set-piece specialists (Bree, plus the long throws from Clarke and Carey), we’re struggling to create chances.1

What are you going on about nowRonnieMoore said:What it does highlight is the two very poor decsions in our last two games that cost us max points …2 -
A relegation type performance.
In fact a lower L1 performance.
Okonkwo & TC excellent.
Alii & Ouma apalling.5 -

No it was not negative in fact it was toAberystwythAddick said:
It wasn’t a negative line up though, that was possibly the best line up that we had available.Bedsaddick said:Negative line up yet again puts us on the back from minute one.
What on earth was he thinking with bringing Ouma on when we were one down and had attacking options on the bench?
I absolutely hate watching Nathan Jones's football .
Grant has done nothing since he came back yet never gets subbed and please don't tell me Skipp is a better option than Docherty.
It might be effective at times but if i didn't support Charlton i wouldn't open my curtains if they were playing in my back garden.Which is what makes it worse
attacking for an away game ..Cardiff won’t play like that away they will get slaughtered so perhaps lesson learned we need to make ourselves tough to break down again like last season and grab the 1-0 wins5 -
We weren’t the best version of ourselves. That was not us. Cardiff are a top side. “Ouma looks a world class player in training.7

Just what has Knibbs done to not even get a look in...spends almost the entire game warming up. Carey has had a few poor games but at least he offers some threat and normally tries to drive us forward. Both Alli and Ouma looked awful today and even Grant was misplacing passes. Leaburn works hard but is too isolated. Someting has got to change...5
