[cite]Posted By: CrispyCAFC[/cite]had a couple of hours in the antigallican before i went to the hawthorns and really enjoyed myself, had a nice chat with the charlton fan behind the bar and will be going there on saturday to watch the watford game, reclaim the antigallican!!
Oi Crispy, I bet you didn`t buy him a pint either, you tight git ;)
Yeah, definately reclaim the Anti as soon as possible! Great idea. Has to be done. What are they building at the top of floyd road on the corner by the way? new pub?
Apparently the H was meant to be done up a bit more but ran out of money and got an offer to be turned into flats they couldnt refuse.
A large chunk of the people in there now drink in the Cons, Although the OB seem to have civil powers to beable to keep selected people inside for certain games.
On a matchday I cant see the OB allowing fans to mix or letting home fans use it. It will mean they will have to shadow a lot more of the surrounding areas Greenwich, Blackheath, London Bridge. At the moment they can get them off the train and put them straight in the anti. Both roads onto it are very open and it would be hard for anyone to try and attack it.
Never paid for the cons myself but to people who dont know the doormen it is usually £2.00 or £10 for the season.
Does anyone drink the The Valley pub? Used to go in there sometime when we first game back and had a lot of Charlton in there despite the long walk to the Charlton. Free food as well.
I heard that it changed ownership and a lot of people stopped drinking there.
Used to have a huge, black and white, wall filling picture of a 1930s crowd at the Valley

It still did last time I was in there, although that was a hell of a long time ago - it has a big CAFC badge on the front so I doubt it's gone. About a year ago I saw an application for flats to go up on the site, but the pub's still open.
formation of idea have posted on CL site there is nothing stopping us saying " Good bye Horse" few beers from the offie pre a game stand in the yard , will get moved on by the Mets finest but it was a meeting place for so many years it deserves a "good bye".
I drive past the new wine church near the woolwich ferry every day at about 6.45 am when they all pile out of there . What do they do at that time of the morning in there , or do they kip there overnight ? Very odd

I know a bailiff who had to go and clear out one of these churches in Deptford area last year, he told me loads of people slept there, OB went with him, nicked loads of illegals, so its completely possible.

Without saying too much the way things are going, you'll be lucky to get any kind of drink on charlton lane come the new season. apart from the shop that is! Very very sad state of affairs... how to wreck a nice local pub. I could really really bloody rant on.

If RO goes and OB dont want home fans in the Anti and they are trying to stop people going into the Con club where do they actually think people should drink ?
O yes silly me this would be a logical question and logic and OB well .

I think that sounds like a plan!
If you got any where near the 50 mark the plod wouldn't move us on as we would not really be doing anything wrong!
All meet there at midday with your creats. Lets hope we get the first game at home and its 80f!!!
OB in not moving people on as they are doing nothing wrong shocker... that wont happen then
