  • 1,044 Luton @ Bradford last night
4,000+ Sunderland for the local 112 mile trip to Barnsley
Luton have cracking away support. They'll fill the Jimmy Seed no problem. I think they have a boat trip planned actually.

It has to be said Luton is very accessible for the rest of the country. You could be back from Bradford not much past midnight in a car.
  • 172 miles Bradford to Luton

When I said not much past midnight, I of course meant 1am. Plus they draw support from all over Beds which reduces their mileage.

Only down the road, so not surprising given their league position.

You would have halved that comfortably it the miners were mid table.

  • Mental how good Luton's away support is. I guess living in Bedfordshire all games are glamour ties for them?

Coventry's is also impressive, ours should be around that figure similar size clubs. BR7 is right that we've had some good followings this season.

Luton have been on a roll for the last 3 years and are in a very good spot geographically to take decent numbers in every direction.
Bradford and Plymouth are the standouts considering how pony they are
We will end up at around 1000 which isn’t bad (for us) especially with a lot of northern hell holes this season and what seems to have been a lot more midweek away games because of international etc
Probably the same for a lot of clubs but games like Wimbledon and Luton we could have probably taken 2500+ to whereas Luton will have over 3000 at our place
    #excuses

Luton  =  Decent owner/board, soon to have brand new ground, on the up on the playing field
    Charlton = Roland

Now, before Oohaa loses his mess I am in no way sticking up for our general piss poor away support, but I have never felt as far removed from my football club as I do today and that goes for many more I would contend.

Bradford’s support deserves the most plaudits, of which I didn’t downplay.

Slight miscalculation there. Has somebody got a calculator handy, it will probably be around 2.5k average for the season once we’ve been to Wembley

    He's a wum!
  • % of average home to away following makes Accrington the best away supported team.

Luton do free coaches to their aways which helps.

Our away following of under 700 to Accrington was shocking for an August Saturday and a new ground for 99%
