So looks like 4-5-1 again, albeit this permutation has Lita upfront on his own, but with plenty of striking options on the bench.

Will Ambrose score again against his old club?

Who will ask where they can get commentary from?

and we are only playing one forward !!!!!
  • 3 strikers on the bench, i know varney can play wide, but really limits what we can do from the bench. Lets hope a full back dont get injured

I agree with the 4-5-1 away from home. Three strikers on the bench is slightly misleading though as Varney can play as a winger

I think I'd have preferred to see an attacking midfielder on the bench rather than three strikers (and Fortune) - either Cook or Sinclair (Sam is injured with a tweaked hamstring) should have been preferred to give us an atcaking option in midfield: Holland, Semedo,Thomas, ZZ and Ambrose gives me the impression that we are a bit lightweight/look one dimensional in the middle, although Varney can play on the wing.

It looks a team of good character and reasonably well balanced.

Just with Semedo back as gatekeeper, no doubt alongside Holland gives the centre defence the protection it needs - so doing away with the soft underbelly we're renowned for.

Thatcher adds that bit of grit and experience there.

ZZ gets the licence to get forward and perhaps Ambrose gets the free role.

If only Thomas would get involved more, he could be the one to do the most damage in a free role!

Free kick to charlton on the half way line. Chance to get the big boys up. Poor free kick ends in a goal kick

Sounds like town are having the best of it. Charlton midfield not in control.
