The team selection is too passive. Of the starting XI only ZZ, Ambrose and Lita are any sort of threat to score on a semi-regular basis.
If you want to be successful in this league you have to be positive and try and make things happen. Playing 4-5-1 and "hoping for a break" at this stage of the season, isn't going to get it done. We never played 4-5-1 in our last two Championship seasons, and we know what happened at the end of those campaigns - That'd be promotion for any bandwagoners reading this. ;o).
In the words of Mike Bassett we should be playing "Four, four, f***ing two". It doesn't always work (what does in football?), but if these players are as good as we're told they are, their quality should see them through more often than not. Let's not let the season fizzle out.
Anyway, here's hoping for better in the 2nd half. Come on you Reds.0 -
