  • All good fry ups must contain a portion of bubble...
  • 2 sausages, 2 poached egg, 2 bacon, 2 hash browns, white pudding, grilled tomatos, 2 pieces of brown toast, and a big splodge of ketchup in the middle.

chips have no place on a breakfast table.
    god created them to,
    1. accompany the fishes.
    2. provide something to put vinegar on.
    and 3. soak up beer.
  • poached eggs in a fry up ? diet coke with a fry up ?

    Poached eggs on toast nice.
poached eggs on smoked haddock over a green salad thats the bollo*

hash browns on an American breakfast yes not an English breakfast.

    Fry Up

    2 pork sausages
    2 bacon
1 small peice of black pud
    2 free range eggs (large)

mug of tea you can swim in !
  • 2 Sausage, Bacon, Scambled Egg, Bubble, Beans, Toast & Tea
  • No chips on a fry up , never

Agree with GH , hash browns is an american invention that has no place on an english fry up

    Tea , buttered toast .

    Small black pud
Oh f**k it, Large black pud!
Beans (on the opposite side of the plate to the egg)
    2 Toast
    Tea
  • [cite]Posted By: DaveMehmet[/cite]Beans (on the opposite side of the plate to the egg)

the reason you have sausages (links), as opposed to square sausage with breakfasts, is to create a dam to prevent such disastrous mixturing.
  • mushers are a prob do like mushers but tend to find they just soak up all the grease in a fry up.

Bubble what goes in it ? spuds, cabbage, peas, greens beans and anything that aint walkin about the fridge in my house.

  • You can't beat a fry up with a bit of boxty.
  • Since moving over here when a group of us do go to the cafe i am the only one who asks for bubble most when questioned say its an evening meal not brekkie is this a sign of the diffrence between nth and sth or are the bubble luvas the minority
  • no wonder there's so many gout sufferers on here.

lol, would take me a day to eat some of those listed !!

Haven't had a fry up this year i don't think. Museli, with dried fruits is my breafast of choice at the moment.

If i've been drinking the night before, 2 poached eggs on granary toast and brown sauce is grand. If i'm especially hungry, chuck in a flat mushroom.
  • Eggs on Toast come on smudge after ale you must need more than that bud
  • Im with you AFKA - i might get a bit of bacon these days if i ask nicely with my poached egss but thats about it. tho its still not making a blind bit of difference to the scales.
  • 2 Sausages
    3 Bacon
    Fried Bread
    Chips
    Mushrooms
    Spaghetti Hoops

Thank you DM- always thought i was a bit obsessive making sure my beans and egg didn't get cross- contaminated.

And also- heaven forbid a tinned tomato should touch my plate as well for the same reason..

    Bacon.

    Very good quality sausage

    Egg

Fried Onions and Mushrooms - chopped and quickly fried

    Black Pudding

    Hash Brown

    Beans

Some tomato sauce and brown sauce, but nowhere each other
  • 2 eggs, (the white done the yolk a bit runny)
2 quality sausages that taste of something
    3 bacon
    bubble
    black pudding
    beans
    fried mushrooms & onions
bread & butter to mop it up with
    tea

and as above, ketchup (pref heinz) and brown sauce, but separated!

Pedantic but it is a 'perfect' fry-up after all!
