Yes, well done Budgie for coming back on here tonight. I ve gotta say i hope City win the final. Of all the teams i ve seen at the Valley this season., they played some of the best football.
[cite]Posted By: budgie[/cite]as a few of you have pointed out, you are looking forward to the six points again, well you're welocome to them, as long as you agree to leave the play offs or better to us, and you continue with mid-table
exactly budgie while it was great stuffing west ham 4-0 and taking 6 points off your mob , i know which clubs finishing position i'd have preferred , no good winning the battles, if we can't win the war!
I think Palace could be in trouble, there are rumours that Ben Watson and Mark Hudson will leave, I think the pony-tailed keeper Speroni has refused a new contract and John Bostock is on his way. Financially I wonder if everything is not quite ok down at Selhurst? Especially given Jordan's problems finding the money to buy the place.
bfr, you're right about Hudson, and there were rumours about Watson too, ironically he was been linked with you, however that was when you looked as though you were heading back to the prem, and I'm sure if he were to leave, it would be to a prem side. Lots of rumours about Bostock going to Spurs, and that would be hard, but the £5mil been quoted would lighten it a little, obviousley though a lot of strings attached to the final figure. Speroni thankfully has signed a new contract.
As for the financial situation, I doubt if its rosy, but I would hope that NW is allowed to do a bit of dealing, because our main problem this season has been the lack of alternatives this season, as I posted earlier it would be nice to have the volume of strikers you have at Charlton.

Come on, tell them what the pub was singing....
I saw 1905 in the Camden and gave him a disconerting shrug of the shoulders when Palace were one up and i left at HT. I hope you celebrated in front of Nigel in his stripey shirt mate at the end...

I hope that this was Palace's flash in the pan season and that they return to type next time around but I know that is wishful thinking.
Big opportunity missed but Warnock is a good manager if Jordan gives him the time and money to push on from here who knows.
As for Charlton we shall see. maybe Hudson is the missing link in our side ; - )
See you at the Kemsley Area and the Valley, Budgie. Live, love, laugh and be happy.
Taking League 1 Players into the Premiership playing FOOTBALL... has it been done before in recent years?
Who cares??
He did all I wanted his side to do the season is now wrapped up for me
