Why should I not be able to talk about a wondergoal scored in a Premiership match at 4.30 pm until midnight just because you want to bury your head in the sand for 8 hours & not join the real world. To be fair I don't mind it and it is only certain threads where the rule applies, but as long as you don't start a thread called 'Palace 3 nil down already hahaha'. If other people have respectfully asked not for Prem scores to be posted in a certain thread then there's no harm. I'm sure someone who appreciates this rule can explain better.golfaddick said:

Likewise GoT airs in the UK Monday evening. If you're lucky enough to be able to stay up until 3 in the morning then fair enough but the rest of us who need sleep ought to be able to enjoy the episode unspoiled and use social media as normal. It won't kill someone to refrain from waiting until the evening until blabbing about it. If you're unable to enjoy something without having to announce it in social media then that's your problem. There is literally not a single good reason to post spoilers.0 -

The word "crispy". What's wrong with the word "crisp"?
"These potatoes are lovely and crisp" - that's all you need. If they're crispy, surely that means "exhibiting characteristics of a crisp-like nature".
Anyway I went to DGS, and to me and my peers Crispy has other connotations.

The so called improvements to Albion Road Bexleyheath.
I always thought it worked quite well, but apparently it will be all the better to reduce the two lanes to one and provide a cycle path (of course). It is apparently mostly funded by tfl, but either way it is robbing millions of pounds from the public purse to achieve very, very little.

So dangerous there, and the mini roundabout at the bottom of Albion road by HSBC. Those crossings, are cars meant to give way to pedestrians? Nobody seems to know.Macronate said:

I am one of the selfish lot who don't like to know scores before I watch the highlights. I have no problem with people on here who want to discuss it but it being on its own say premiership games thread then I can easily avoid. Same with the cricket and the tour De France. I just don't go on those threads till I've caught up.
Ive got to the point where I have trained myself not to read papers or watch the news in case they give the results away. I've left pubs singing to myself when I hear someone starting a conversation about the cricket or something. I'm even able to keep my eyes away from TV's in pubs. Might call it a bit obsessive but as I don't get the chance to watch all games live I do like to enjoy the next best thing. To me it's like knowing the end of the book before you even start it.4 -

Me staying on top of everything in the house. Don't get me wrong I love my wife but she is a messy bastard
Daily I run the hoover round, load and unload the dishwasher (fnaar fnaar), make the bed and gather up all of the fucking scattered scatter cushions, keep the toilets gleaming (which is some achievement given the mayhem I rain down on them), the windows are always cleaned, the cars detailed regular and cleaned weekly.
Yet when she decides to have a purge and do the cleaning herself usually on a Saturday morning when I'm dealing with a particular spiteful hangover it's fucking Adele at full bore on the sound system, hoover smashing into things, furniture being overturned, shit being moved and all very aggressively. As if she's having to break her back keeping the home tidy, when I'm actual fact maybe a spray of Mr sheen and a microfiber over the flat surfaces and wall hangings and a floor mop is all that's required.
Now I'm also floundering with my movements. I feel like I've got a paving slab lodged in my lower colon hovering tantalisingly near my rectum and it is stubbornly refusing to leave me.
As I type I'm imagining this behemoth as a jBo jet. Say a 747 and I've just managed to get the nose cone and cockpit out. The rest, fuselage, passengers first class and steerage, the wings and tail are all refusing to budge.
This is doubly annoying because I've been doing some very loose, soft ones lately at a rate of 2 a day so to now find this aircraft lodged in the hangar is unpleasant.

If I take, as I should, some herbal medication to loosen this badboy up and send him on his way.
