Online banking. My secure key ran out of battery without warning. HSBC have now forced me to install the HSBC app as it’s ‘more secure’. They claim that yet it saves my very hard to remember user name (no opt out) and I now just have to put in one password of max 9 characters then everything is available. I’ve tried hard and I can’t even set up fingerprint login.

This is the same bank though who cancelled my overdraft whilst backpacking (told them I was away for 4 months so they sent letters and cancelled it within that time, then charged me), and once gave someone in Brixton access to my account. Money laundering t***s, I should have changed bank years ago.

So you wouldn’t recommend them? 😉

The new low calorie Cadbury bar has 30% less sugar, but is 22% smaller.  Needless to say the price remains the same.
    Yes,

You are receiving the health benefit and opportunity of becoming less obese so should be grateful to pay for that privilege.

The obesity scam is all about money and allowing business to give people less and charge more all in the interests of health of course...

As I couldn’t find the “general things you find pretty fucking minging” thread, it’s going on here.

people taking their tops off on busy train journeys, can barely move on my train tonight and you have people pressed up against top less sweaty fuckers.
I dread to think what it's like in Sunderland and Newcastle. Given what their fans do in the winter.
The whole area is probably nude.

Some people find it annoying when grown men wear football shirts...

But i fricken despise grown men going topless in public. Just chuck a vest on if you're that hot.

Nobody wants to see you topless... Also it's always skinny little twiglets or uber fat bastards and they all think they're either 'Ard' or look good?
And Macho Men, look at my muscles or Tattoos.

Whoever done that deserves to have it inserted in their hole and then the dog to play tug of war.

People who drive with their hands hanging out the window.

When did driving instructors stop teaching that the only time you put your hand out of the window whilst moving is to give a hand signal?

Flight back from Manchester to Heathrow delayed by 1hr and a half. Land at Heathrow, sit next to runway for an hour and ten minutes as they haven't got a stand available for the plane. Finally park up and get off the plane. The one time I've got more than just hand luggage and they say no bags until tomorrow. Now sat back in my car in the long stay car park while my work colleague continues to argue for the release of our luggage.

All because it's been hot today. Farking useless. Are South Eastern Train's currently in charge of the whole country's transport infrastructure?!

    Technically not:

However, probably unfair to expect his replacement to undo Grayling's feeble legacy in one day.

Just got home, minus my suitcase.

Karma for your recent smug comments on the south eastern thread perhaps? :-)

(just checked it was you and it was 12th July. Your comments irked me at the time and I cursed you under my breath not knowing 19days later you’d get your comeuppance!)

Haha, you're quite right! I felt ashamed of myself after that. I sincerely apologise, I was riding on a wave of euphoria, after my first full week of value-for-money, disruption-free commuting in nearly two decades, and I let my emotions get the better of me. It will never happen again and, whilst I'm no longer on South Eastern in person, I will always be there in spirit, either quietly tutting on a stationary train stranded outside London Bridge, or firing napalm at a Cannon Street "Meet the Managers" session.

Technophobes and especially old people who moan about new technology, and still use those old phones.  My dad, all he ever bangs on about is '"kids of today'' and ''always on their screens'  My mum bought a new car recently and they told her you can do everything through bluetooth, naturally, they can't work it out as they've never had a smartphone.  My Dad then got a smartphone but only because his eventually broke and the shop convinced him to get one as they don't really sell old shitty phones anymore.  and Now he loves it !

I have had one for about six months. It keeps sending me messages about games/apps I might like. I have never, ever played a game on it, and the only app I use is UBER. If it is so "Smart" why hasn't it worked out I have no effing interest at all in the stuff it is trying to flog me?

Probably because its using Algorithms to see who else has the UBER app and what they use

Presuming you'd like the same sort of thing

So when I ignore every single request for six months, it isn't "Smart" enough to work out that actually I don't like the same sort of thing? And it still sends me game stuff that I have never subscribed to in my life.

Trousers that have back pockets as part of the design but are, for some unfathomable reason stitched closed?

Are you meant to take the stitching out, like with a suit jacket ?
