  • Montgomery's cheddar -- best cheese in the world. Mmmmm. Now you've made me think of it, I'm going to have to nip to buy some
  • I love cheese!!

Comté is my favourite at the moment, discovered it on a stall at Borough Market, absolutely amazing!

For all you cheese lovers, not sure if I'm really allowed to do this but...

...my girlfriend's cousin runs a great cheese company that delivers really nicely boxed cheeses to your door.
Makes a really good present for anyone into they're cheese.

  • Le Vacherin rocks. Knocks all other Christmas food into a cocked hat. Otherwise, big fan of those baby stiltons and Cashel Blue from Ireland.

I've never tasted something so disgusting in all my life. Horrid stuff.
  • Partial to smoked Bavarian but when Mrs.M does a fondue (you may have become aware we live in the past)all sorts of strong cheddars get chucked in with the cider or , if it's pay day , Tesco's best vino blanco.

  • Can't eat any cheese other then Mozzerella.

Even the smell makes my stomach turn. I made my missus a cheese sandwich the other week and the smell of it made me puke!

My mum says that even as a toddler anything with cheese in it made me sick.

    Did that include Twiglets?

  • I was told by a vegetarian that they contained cheese, check the packet (not sure I ever did but I continue to use the information in my many cheese discussions).

  • Not many people know this buuuuuuuuuuuuuut we all have at least one smell that we cant smell !! mine is parmazan it has no smell at all to me yet others say its smells like old socks.
  • For a classy, unusual selection of cheeses you have to try the chesse counter in Selfridges food hall, on Oxford Street. They will even let you taste them before you buy. Be prepared for a huge shock when you get to the checkout though!

  • Parmasan is a strong Umami (oo- mommy) taste.

Normally people talk about the four basic tastes: sweet, sour, salty and bitter but Umami is another.

MSG has a lot as well.
