cycling.
the so called 'sprint' races that are 10 or so circiuts of the velodrome, the first 9 and a half laps are spent going as slow as f***ing possible.
[cite]Posted By: McLovin[/cite]Baaseball = rounders stretched over a week. Utter gash.
Actually it's only stretched to 4 hours and that's mostly to do with the television companies. However like horse racing, cricket and basketball - it is more about the experience of being there. They all suck as TV sports imo.
[cite]Posted By: Stone[/cite]'Sports' that are determined by matters of opinion get me. ie diving, gymnastics, skating etc where scores are given by judges.
watching has to be snooker, like playing it tho.. cant remeber the amount of times i have dozed off with the snooker on only to be woken up by John Virgo lamenting an easy missed red...

"Faster, Higher, Stronger"?
Boxing?
A bit of an exception there as I think the rounds are based on punches landed and certainly knockdowns. Not who had the fanciest footwork :-)
Squash! Just can't be doing with it. Another player's sport rather than a spectator one. Favourite sport on the box: motorcycling, especially the GPs: skilful, daring, and risky. Especially as there are a couple of Brits coming up through the ranks who could be future World Champs.
I only put Ice Hockey in my list as you can't see where the puk is anyway!! It is like watching football with a transparent ball!! I.e pointless. I have watched it loads for the fights, watched a bit when i was in Canada and went to see Calgary play someone, although i was absolutely wasted i couldn't even see where the puk was!! And found it more interesting watching all the dousche bag yanks/canadanks shouting stupid things at something they couldn't see!! Was a good day out tho.

I'm a big Racing fan, but i'd find it hard to sit and watch an afternoon of small maidens on the All weather at Lingfield without a bet.
Boxing?

Oi Henry! Pro wrestling isn't a sport so it has no place on this list!
