  • cycling.
the so called 'sprint' races that are 10 or so circiuts of the velodrome, the first 9 and a half laps are spent going as slow as f***ing possible.
  • Tennis - fecking awful sport
  • [cite]Posted By: McLovin[/cite]Baaseball = rounders stretched over a week. Utter gash.

Actually it's only stretched to 4 hours and that's mostly to do with the television companies. However like horse racing, cricket and basketball - it is more about the experience of being there. They all suck as TV sports imo.
  • I think Horse Racing is more about whether you have backed a horse or not.

I'm a big Racing fan, but i'd find it hard to sit and watch an afternoon of small maidens on the All weather at Lingfield without a bet.
  • [cite]Posted By: Stone[/cite]'Sports' that are determined by matters of opinion get me. ie diving, gymnastics, skating etc where scores are given by judges.

    "Faster, Higher, Stronger"?

    Boxing?
  • watching has to be snooker, like playing it tho.. cant remeber the amount of times i have dozed off with the snooker on only to be woken up by John Virgo lamenting an easy missed red...

A bit of an exception there as I think the rounds are based on punches landed and certainly knockdowns. Not who had the fanciest footwork :-)

  • I agree with all of Ketman's choices and would also add Cricket to his list
  • Can't believe snooker is getting the caning it is. Utterly absorbing for me although I'd never pay to watch it live.
  • oi ketman leave darts out of it. Its one of the best spectator sports you can go and see
  • American Football, Canadian Football, Baseball, Basketball, any form of motorised racing (except bangers/stock car), rugby, tennis and golf.

    Love darts!
  • Golf,Basketball & Baseball.
    What the f...................?
  • F1 and cricket. How anyone could say Ice Hockey is boring obviously hasn't watched it, totally with Leroy on that one.
  • Any ‘sport’ (with the exception of Boxing) that is decided by judges.
  • Equestrian.
  • synchronised swimming

  • Squash! Just can't be doing with it. Another player's sport rather than a spectator one. Favourite sport on the box: motorcycling, especially the GPs: skilful, daring, and risky. Especially as there are a couple of Brits coming up through the ranks who could be future World Champs.
  • I only put Ice Hockey in my list as you can't see where the puk is anyway!! It is like watching football with a transparent ball!! I.e pointless. I have watched it loads for the fights, watched a bit when i was in Canada and went to see Calgary play someone, although i was absolutely wasted i couldn't even see where the puk was!! And found it more interesting watching all the dousche bag yanks/canadanks shouting stupid things at something they couldn't see!! Was a good day out tho.
  • ...and horse-racing.
  • Swimming without a shadow of a doubt. Imagine watching the 400m done at 25% of the pace. ZZZZZZ

Oi Henry! Pro wrestling isn't a sport so it has no place on this list!
