I love movies and would find it hard to single one fave out of these, but all top top movies in my book for a whole stack of reasons:
Lord of the Rings Trilogy Bourne Trilogy The Dark Knight Revenge of the Sith The Departed Casino Royale Star Trek Ne le dis a Personne (Tell No One) Kung Fu Panda Madagascar (1 & 2) No Country for Old Men Meet the Parents
No country for old men.
The Departed.
Sexy beast. (I love to watch Ghandi swear)
If ever there was a film that made a lot of money from pure hype Donnie Darko would be it. Rubbish IMHO.
Was forced to watch Epic movie. My Mrs will really will watch absolutely any old shite that happens to be on.
[cite]Posted By: Carter[/cite]The Hangover would be funny but you could see every single sketch coming a mile off.
I found the wanking baby quite amusing but that was it, other than that everything in that film had been done before. I was honestly gutted I paid to go and see it.
Yeah that is clearly the best part, i know its about all about opinions but i dont see how you also like Kevin & Perry and not hangover? just as offensive as each other
And what from the hangover has been done before? although i hear its similar to bachelor which i havent seen so if you mean its too like that then i apologise
Dont think you would have guessed the tiger part? or chinese man in his boot naked? there are bits that you can guess but i think the majority to me was knew
again if in previous film i havent seen let me know and i take it back
I see a few mentions of City of God. If you like the film try the Brazilian TV series "City of Men" which you can get on DVD. I think its by the same director and has a lot of the same actors in. Cracking series !

Dude where's my car is where it's been done before, nothing to do with how offensive it was trying to be, it weren't funny.
They couldn't remember anything because the weird beard one gave them all a date rape drug. Never saw that coming.
One of them got married and can't remember it. Hilarious
Nothing about it was original, Kevin & Perry pissed all over it

Think we will have to agree to dis-agree on this one mate, i have seen dude wheres my car aswell and kevin & perry i will give you is a quality film but would be tough one to call for me
Thankyou for Smoking Inside Man - genre driven, cliched, reverse reveal but done so brilliantly and with amazing casting and directing - can't wait for the second one this year. Battle Royale Apocalypto - frankly logically ludicrous in places - reminded me of Flashman in Madagascar, now that would be a film - but just emotionally in awe of the bravado of short journey in distance but massive cultural journey. It can be historical bollox/impossible, but isn't visual journey what films all about? Let the Right One in V 4 Vendetta Juno Half Nelson

Very good. Particularly liked the episode with the street signs. The kid that played Lil Dice stars. There's also a sequel movie of the same name which resolutely refuses to come to me off my Love Film list.
There Will Be Blood 2008 Paul Thomas Anderson City of God 2003 Fernando Meirelles The Lives of Others 2006 Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck O Brother, Where Art Thou? 2000 Ethan & Joel Coen Ray 2004 Taylor Hackford Pan's Labyrinth 2006 Guillermo del Toro American Psycho 2000 Mary Harron The Diving Bell and the Butterfly 2007 Julian Schnabel Amélie 2001 Jean-Pierre Jeunet United 93 2006 Paul Greengrass
[cite]Posted By: cafcdan18[/cite]Watched The Hangover last night, funniest film I have seen in a long while
didnt you find it offensive? and all the jokes have been done before ;-)
didnt think so lol see earlier part of thread if you dont get it
I don't think I said I found it offensive. Offensively bad maybe
If you liked it fair play but I have had funnier hangovers myself.
Where did you howl with laughter? The wanking baby made me chuckle, in the same way I would chuckle at someone tripping over in the street or a dog hanging out a car window with it's tongue flapping
Ok it was not an oscar winning film but The Hangover was quite funny, the jokes may have been done before but maybe on a saturday night when I am snowed in and there is no football on, I just wanna watch a simple easy going film.
Maybe a little foolish to talk about it in the best film of the decade thread I admit but it was good
The Mike Tyson scenes were good, I thought all the characters were quite funny and there were some good lines. Not Monty Python but come on, what did you expect, as soon as I picked it up, I thought it would be in the Superbad, American Pie mould and imo it is.

at the end I was praised and duly rewarded....

Mike Tyson playing air-drums. Oh how I screamed. It is over-hyped shite.
American Pie was funny, Superbad was funny, that's the difference.
