[cite]Posted By: JorgeCosta[/cite]If they still owe HMRC then it's not the taxman who suffers. It's ordinary taxpayers who have to make up the deficit. If you or I owed money to HMRC, we'd be bankrupted and be worth f% all. Doesn't seem right that clubs can walk away (nothing to do with Palace in particular) from all their obligations scot free. They've had the public services that support their business and then refuse to pay. Shame on them.
Just seen 200 spotty youths on BBC London News. Good job it's half term or there would've just been the asian looking guy in his specs and some strange looking tall bloke. Fella reckons they made all the difference. Yes mate - course you did. Now, look at all those kids about for you to "groom".

[cite]Posted By: RedZed333[/cite]You nigels ought to be grateful you have the priviledge to make your thoughts known on a rival board...
I went on the holmesdale[strike]shite[/strike]site to offer my comiserations and not only did they delete my posts but they kicked me out...!!!!
Charlton fans are welcome on the BBS, I'm not sure about Holmesdale, as I don't go on it often, but there are several Charlton posters on the BBS, and as on here, they are welcomed by most.
Obviously there are times like today, when rival fans are monitored a little more carefully than usual, but as AKFA would point out, it's the same on here, as I recall after the play off defeat there were Palace 'fans' who were trying to join here to get there feelings known.
However I'm sure your commiserations will have been welcomed.
Glad Palace survived, much rather have them as rivals and hopefully be playing them sooner rather than later ideally in the Champ, there is nothing sweeter than 3 points v Palace. If they go out of business, many will follow and even though I despise Jordan, would much rather have a local rivalry and local derby.
Saying that, the teenage Chavs on London Tonight made me laugh, only there as it is half term.

The only reason i wish they were liquidated is because of the way history would have looked at simon jordan. That utter mong face tried his hardest to seem like the biggest palace hero of all time, and a lot of their fans went along with it. And today they were a few hours from ceasing to EXIST, due in large part to saint simon himself. Dear palace fans, we effing well told you.

Yet some of the stripey morons still think the guys shit don't stink.
It's all some evil plot to gang up on Palace you see, nothing to do with Jordan being an incompetent twonk.
[cite]Posted By: Friend Or Defoe[/cite]Banter, the term of choice for the Lovejoy generation.
That is quality - I'm using that myself from now on to describe any prick who thinks that middle-class c*** Lovejoy is 'cool'. That tosser epitomises everything that's been wrong with football for the past ten years. Every time I see his face I want to ram it through a car windscreen.
[cite]Posted By: Atletico Addick[/cite]When was the first time Palace went in administration if this is the 3rd? Whoever said it was 3?
It was BDL who mentioned it, 1986 under Ron Noades. He was one of the first to write off large football debts with the creation of Crystal Palace (1986) Ltd.
Well I am glad (although not all over) that they have survived. Despite big and sometimes bitter rivalries most of us are bound together with a common bond as decent passionate fans.
In 1984 I had to contemplate my beloved Charlton ceasing to exist. I wouldn't wish that on any fans. Reading the posts on BBS and HOL in the last few days brought those dark days back to me.
For Budgie, SOS and my friends and extended family who are Palace fans, I felt for you over the past days and I hope its will all be finalised and the club will have a future again.
I would hope as well that if the boot was on the other foot, most would wish us well. I fear, those days may not be too far around the corner

Oh yes ! Laminated I hope!!
Glad for decent CPFC fans like my good friend Bill who does Palace radio...

Thanks for the sentiment Bing.
In truth as much as I enjoyed seeing Nicky Bailey find row Z the other week, that is pretty much the height of misery I would want heaped on any club......events that happen on the pitch should dictate a clubs successes and failures.
I'd take no pleasure at all from CAFC being in admin and people losing their jobs and I don't really understand the thinking of anyone who does.
Palace had a very near miss yesterday, I don't feel like celebrating that all, I'm relieved we still exist, but am also extremely bitter towards the orange twat that put us in this situation, businesses have been 'knocked', jobs lost, because he could not run a bath let alone a football club......so really celebration seems pretty inappropriate to to me.
I hope that CAFC do not find themselves in similiar circumstances and I do feel that's unlikely, as I do accept that its plain for all to see that CAFC has been a far better run club than CPFC over the recent past.
I don't particularly want to go in to details, but through my job I am also aware of the incredible community work CAFC delivers across South East London and down to the coast of Kent. I'd love to see Palace build up a similiar infrastructre, but that takes time, and again it's another reason I would not want to see CAFC go into administration as the loss of the initiatives CAFC deliver across SE London and Kent would be felt very keenly by a great deal of young people; young people that often have little else to look forward, it's not just about football.
Neither Palace or CAFC fans would probably want to admit this but on a normal (palace are'nt going to be liquidated day) you will usually find that the general topics being discussed on CharltonLife or The CPFC BBS are the same, I'm guessing thats because ultimately it's similiar social groups.........but then take a look at the Millwall boards......
Anyway enough of the pleasantries.
Up the Palace Still No 1 in SOUTH LONDON..............get in!!

Call the RSPCA, that poor dog looks worried.
Don't be silly that's a dog, you must have been watching 'Britians got talent', they may be able to dance, but they can't type yet.
Mind you, after reading some of your posts.............
