Songs that make the hairs on your neck stand up..

Five that always get me:
1) Easy by the Commodores - I just love Lionel Ritchie's voice,
2) Build by the Housemartins - not so well known but just a beautiful song that builds to a lovely chorus,
3) Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin - the classic rock song, never bettered,
4) Hide in Your Shell by Supertramp - a gorgeous classic 70's rock song,
5) Miss Sarajevo by Passengers - the best track that U2 ever recorded.

Anybody else??

One by U2 - Sky played it after the Playoff Final (When they show clips at the end - only just caught it on the tape as I didn't set the recorder on LP - clearly wasn't expecting Pens) and every time I hear it, it makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up!

Used to be when we were getting beat 4 - 0 but the team had put some effort in against a better side and we'd sing "we're proud of you, Charlton".

And now I can say this without adverse comment. When the Jungle sings "You'll never walk alone"

Morts, same for me with Evergreen by Barbra Striesand - cheesy as fook but a perfect wedding song, better than all the usual tosh. Does it for me every time i hear it.

And Bad by U2 is spot on too.
