Like the first red one a lot, and don't typically like collars much, but the one just above is also quite nice to look at. Also like the grey away one...with the red home and grey away, would serve as a nice tribute to the early years of Toronto FC, way back in 2006... ;-)

[cite]Posted By: UP...THE...ADDICKS[/cite]My favourites out of that lot are the home, blue and black and the silver/grey ones - might have to email em to the club :)

Quite like this one though, bit more vintage:

Mine too - always like a shirt with a collar. I also like a symmetric design - I don't like odd white stripes down the side or across the shirt (mind you I'm not wearing it).

Any clues as to when the new kits will be unveiled?

Jolly Robin, Other than the small KRBS on the away shirt that is pretty much what the actual shirts look like.

    Have you seen them?

The home one is sweet. Just like my first ever charlton kit as a nipper.

I haven't. Is it really Pinstripe. I've been campaigning for a pinstripe home shirt for years?

I don't mind collars on football shirts, but the collar on this season's home shirt was pointless. It wasn't even a proper collar. The shirt would have been better without it.

My 9 year old liked the home one with the old badge (it's 'sick' apparently) and the away one with the stripe down the middle.

Good work jolly, love the home shirt, the vertical pin stripe is very flattering for the fuller figure charlton fan... its all about the confidence... ;-)

    Gents,

Apparently the away kit is in a colour that we have never played in before.

The only colours that I can think of is pink (Had a strange reaction when mentioned this!), orange, brown (this has already been dismissed). Any other ideas? There are 7 colours we have never played in.

Some very nice mock ups there though.
  • Quality stuff here. 3 or 4 amazing home shirts there.

    Charlton AND Celtic!!!

    This guys a genius

Love the pinstripes and also the old style badge on the one with the collar. Still hoping for a yellow away kit, just seems to conjure up images of better days. Good job though with all the artwork, hope the club and macron are taking notice.

Quality mock ups, I'll be honest I wouldn't mind any of 'em compared to some of our previous ones. The grey one looks a bit like a goalys shirt though. :-)

I take it we're having red with small lines for home and a pinstripe away kit in a weird colour? interesting..

I really liked last years kit, not sure if we can beat it this year
  • Here's the thing. The people that are paid to design football shirts have failed to produce anything inspiring for years. I have bought each of the home and most of the away shirts since the mid 80s. That was until this season when the cub released them for sale after the summer and we all knew they were for one season only.

I know there must be some consideration for the manufacturing process but I just don't understand how a 16 year old can design more shirts that I'd like to own in a few hours than the club can come up with in more than a decade. Let's remember that we have been in the Premier League during that time.

Fair play to UP...THE...ADDICKS but this does really make those in the club responsible for the kits look like mugs.
