    Well it is something unique which these big brands never do. Our kits since turning to Umbro have been a template for another team and it got boring.

    It is a massive hit with Saints fans, hope the club decide to keep sponsors off the shirt for the away kit.

    FACT: Pardew has a thing about white kits as he thinks they are lucky. His West Ham team did well in them and we had one as well while he was here remember. Always made the team wear it even if the red kit would have been OK

    That is out of date now, and still it is a different template despite the colours being similar.

    That shirt is our 125th anniversary and was used in 1885. It'll look crap if they put a sponsor on it as sponsors usually ruin shirts imo.

    Hopefully it becomes a huge hit with Saints fans and we never have a sponsor again in the Liebherr era.

    Any news on our new kit yet? I was thinking we might have started getting sneak peeks on the OS by now. Some of the designs in this thread are really nice.

    Yep, I heard a rumour that the home kit will definitely be red.

    And the away kit ..... won't be.

    Just picked up some early 90's tops. I've got the blue and black diagonal away top from 91/92 and the White with red collars third kit from 92/93 Admiral and Ribero respectively

    Very retro feel, might be the first one for a a few years I buy straight away rather than wait for the price to come down at the end of the season

    My boy actually asked me last night where the new kit is. . . .

    Is there an actual 'launch date' or is that gonna cost too money?

    Maybe turn the lights out in the superstore?

    lol it'll defo be a late arrival then!

    I had found a link that mentions pin stripes on the home kit and this is the only shirt with pin stripes! Another which I can find mentions piping.
