  • A strange one as he had flown out there etc. My guess is that they've just agreed to a rematch already, on the condition of no appeal. If it's a mandatory, the titleholder has far less rights and options than a voluntary defence
  • Glad that means it stays as a loss on his record, great news he lost fair and square
  • all to do about money and greed --let them fight and give all the money to cancer research UK
  • But what about the "mystery man"?

There is NO rematch! Not yet at least, that is the one thing that is clear from all this. Peterson is free to fight anyone and Khan now has no grounds for an immdiate rematch.
He's out there alright. Tweeted only hours ago that he was in town for the appeal, then HIS team withdrew.
  • well strange chirpy
  • Khan would have lost again IMHO
  • lets hope he goes down the prince naseeem route ..........................he has had his day -- all hype now he was beaten fair and square
  • Sponsored links:

  • Neither Khan or Naseem were "all" hype jdsd42. Both bloody good fighters.

Think Khan should pipe down with the sore loser stuff though, same as Haye and the dodgy pinkie. Sort any gripes out the way Harry Hill suggests...
  • I think Khan would win a rematch. All very strange.
  • Peterson has been told to fight Khan in a rematch by the wba the hearing was an ibf tribunal

So he had 10 days from Thursday last week to agree to a mandatory rematch for to hold that wba belt

You can bet he will relinquish the wba belt. Khan will fight for the vacant belt whilst Peterson goes of makes a few bucks on an easier ibf fight and then they meet up both earning over a million each as champions for the re match
  • Khan will go up to welter now
