Just bought 2 packs of Kingsmill crumpets for a £1 at Tesco, and done a whole pack (6) in one sitting with real butter!

Feel a bit bloated now but that 2nd pack keeps looking at me!

Crumpets lovely but Kingsmill? Very poor bread. I'm sure there must be better ones about.

as Charlton Life's Master Baker, I used to work in a crumpet factory - great fun, we also made Lancashire Pikelets, English Muffins & Potato Cakes. Sadly now that I am in Canada crumpets aren't commercially available in anywhere near the quality available back home.
  • Strange enough I am just on my way to orchard rd here in sing to pick up some M&S crumpets. Only ones we get here but they are nice but expensive!

    Crumpets and honey for me,

Bee juice on crumpets, youve spent too long out of the UK and picked up bad habbits.

Marmite and  strong cheese on M&S crumpets, ultimate brunch.
