Parish is blaming Forest now, needs a long hard look at himself before he blames anyone else.
Will be a new rivalry for Palace now anything to forge relevancy.
    The A23/M25/M1 Derby.
The clubs named after things that aren't there derby: no palace  in North Croydon, no forest in Nottingham.

(Sherwood Forest is closer to Sheffield than Nottingham)
    Sherwood Forest is in Nottinghamshire.

The driving distance between Nottingham city centre to Sherwood Forest is 20 miles.

The driving distance between Sheffield city centre and Sherwood Forest is 25.1 miles.

Palace supporters get a trip to Florence. There’s no justice in the world.
  • Fiorentina will beat them, they will have spent more than they earn from Europes unwanted competition.

Don’t forget that Palace are one of the luckiest teams that have ever existed.

Is that the Fiorentina that have won 6 games in 29 in Serie A this season?

Yes. Palace have won 10 in 30, they aren't exactly great.  They scrapped through against Larnica needing extra time.  Fiorentina will beat them.

Tbf Fiorentina have improved recently. Those 6 wins came in their last 15 in the league. They were absolutely dreadful earlier in the season and didn't win any of their first 14.

Fiorentina are my second team, so I will be watching this closely. They have improved recently, but still nowhere near as good as they were in recent seasons. They have lost many key players, including Nico Gonzalez, Milenković, and Bonaventura.
The team is starting to gel, and if Kean, Fagioli (special player), Gudmundsson play well I beleive they will win

    What are Fiorentina's ultras like?

    Just found this:-

In response to a serious confrontation between Fiorentina and Roma supporters on a motorway near Bologna, Italian authorities have banned Fiorentina ultras from travelling to any away Serie A matches for the rest of the 2025-26 season.

The measure follows reports of a large-scale altercation involving dozens of fans and is part of a broader effort to curb rising fan violence across Italian football. This has led to a national crackdown on ultras travelling for away games.

If that applies internationally then they'll miss the delights of Selhurst Park.

Big ultra culture with Fiorentina, sadly, idiots everywhere, Ban doesn't extend to European fixtures; there were many Fiorentina fans in Poland this week.

They've been awful this season, barely staying out of the relegation zone

Why would they want to go there, when they have Croydon?

They are pony right now but feeling emboldened by wins v Zrinjski, Wolves and Brighton.  None of which have been dominant.  They won't win this competition but it has helped distract their entire season.

Fiorentina will beat them, they will have spent more than they earn from Europes unwanted competition.
In the next round can you please predict Palace to win easily.

They'll be chanting 'Florence is a shithole I wanna go home'.

They will melt in Italy and lose 4-0. It's only half time

I'm sure you're only saying that tongue in cheek but Fiorentina are awful. This is long way off a side that once had Rui Costa and Batistuta playing for them. They're a team in a relegation battle and recently lost a European final to West Ham.

Palace are awful too remember. I didn't watch last night but can confidently say they got lucky and deserved to be thrashed
