  • Sorry there's only one outcome....

    Charlton are red,
    Millwall are blue,
    I'm off to the Valley,
    And so are you! ;-0

I'm in Berlin, working, no chance of getting to the game. Maybe I can find some German brass to rub instead to pass the time ....

I have just told my wife I am going to the game. She asked if I loved Charlton more than her?

I told her I loved Milwall more than her.

Apparently I am free to do whatever I like whenever I like!

I bought my ticket with one of my jackson 5 vouchers. As she got me that for xmas, she effectively got my ticket for the match so she can't complain..................

  • my girlfriend says she would like to go to the game so I'm getting her a ticket. as long as we're together she says. that's love for you! and then a trip to the Golden Arches afterwards! in reality I can be really romantic but that's all that will be open after the game!

Marry/go out with a lady who shares your interests, rather than the thick as a plank stick insect with plastic boobs who is stupid enough to fall for your chat up lines?

Just to sum up.......my girlfriend never really liked football and had never been to a match, she was more of a rugby watcher.....took her to charlton welling preseason and bought her a shirt for her birthday, hasnt looked back since...........been to every home game so far bar sheff utd coz she was to ill to drive, comes back from uni especially for most of them on saturday morning, wears her charlton shirt at uni on the saturday when theyre away and keeps an eye at the scores even when on shift (shes studying to be a paramedic),
the yeovil game sticks out though - boxing day family round her house (i was at my familys home) and she sits with laptop beside her and flashscores up in her charlton shirt, checking it for the whole 90minutes,
il let her like michael morrison as much as she wants considering the luck she has bought us so far (undefeated this season when shes watched in the league), often catch her muttering the words of valley flloyd road when were there though shes not a loud person so il let her off not singing them! Love how she refers to them as we too, insists i have to invite her to the away game when we get to guarantee promotion.
    im a lucky charlton fan!

What a lovely story I came across about two Charlton supporters. I wonder whether they will be at the match?

One of the country's oldest married couples - Lionel and Ellen Buxton

    Come on!
Who are they going to replace?
You're not going to drop Kerms or the bloke who is better than his brother, are you?
Their passing in midfield is always going to be suspect in these wintry conditions.
And the current back 5 are the best in the league.
Frankly, I dont think you have thought this through

She's at Stoke Valencia on the Thursday. It really wouldn't cause any bother.

Anyone's wife/girlfriend that is happy for them to go football is getting another bloke round while you're out. FACT

Did I mention I won't be there Tuesday?

Wondered why you stopped her coming football on a Saturday morning.

She stopped going cos there was this creepy little 12 year old looking bloke there who kept staring at her . Bit of a div by all accounts

You should have complained about the coaches if they were doing that mate!

You are all assuming it is only wives who moan, my husband hates football and I haven't told him there is a game yet. Any suggestions?

He may hate footy but how does he feel about Valentine's Day?

He will want to celebrate it just because Charlton are playing, so may be the silent treatment for a few days because I am going to the Valley!

Now that is a proper role reversal. I take my hat off to you!

Saturday nights is no fun for him now, he goes to bed with the hump and I sit up watching the footie. Apparently my obsession with football makes his life a misery!!

Don't tell him that there is a game. Just go out silently.
