Saturday nights is no fun for him now, he goes to bed with the hump and I sit up watching the footie. Apparently my obsession with football makes his life a misery!!
If he doesnt like football, he's secretly a gay, FACT
  • Will be flying back to Oz with the kids. Should land around kick off time. Leaving the Mrs behind to do some work here!

Why not just go to the football, forget the bird and if she don't put out just get a brass?

An update on Valetines Day, I told him there was a match on Tuesday and we could celebrate Valentines on Sunday (going to see Snow Patrol at O2)....... He looked at me with disgust and said it's not going to happen! Shall I take this as a yes?

I think you're in for a very frosty Valentines night.

How long you been together? It must make life a bit tricky.

Just don't get this Valentines night palaver.

Okay if you're 15 years old and trying to get to second base but really, for most of us in long term stable relationships it's just another excuse to screw some more money out of us innit?

If a relationship isn't strong enough to sustain a partner chosing to go to the football on one night of the year because convention and Clinton's Cards say you must do something else then maybe it's not looking good in the long term (this isn't aimed at any individual on here btw!).

Just find it a bit weird that grown men (and women) are getting all stressy about it.

Nathan, that is offensive and not appropriate.

Valentines is pointless, me and missus met at Charlton.
Feb 14 is just another Tuesday night at the game for both of us.
  • Packed mine off for a week, comes back Wednesday

I've definitely picked a winner, she insisted we go to the game before I had even finished putting together my 'business case' for permission. Our romantic dinner will be the buffet available in the Players' Lounge, which is long overdue a Michelin star...result!

I simply told the wife in a calm dignified manner that I was going to the game tonight, and then I politely asked if she had any preference as to whether I sleep in the garage or the shed when I get back ;-)
