No ones mentioned the wonderful "Bridewells" in Dartford where you'd get your voucher for sausage and chips as you entered , I was never brave enough to attempt to eat in there
I remember being in there on the night of the return to the valley nearly 20 years ago ...... Battered
i remember that no matter where charlton were playing we'd always end up there (battered).
few people mentioning streatham, probably the same club i remember being called studio.

Some terrific memories there. I lost part of my youth in nearly all of the aforementioned places.

Who remembers the Old Trading Post in Bexleyheath? Drink yourself around the world. Had some big nights in there.

The Prince Albert in Deptford on a Sunday. Gilly's around the back of the Old Kent Road. Lazy Toad in Beckenham then all back to the Catford Cricket Club - secret knock on the back door and drink til dawn. Ah, great days.

I never went to Ts - always declined it. Zen's and Deja Vu were the local ones for me as I was growing up and then when I moved out of home it was Jazzmin's or Biba's in Bromley. I also never went to that 'grab a granny' place in Sidcup - The Marlowe Rooms (was that what it was called)??!
that would be the Zoom Zoom, done most of the clubs that were about then, dont know how ive survived

has some memorable moments in the Trading Post when we watched Euro 96. Holland game was the only time i've ever drunk so much i couldn't hear.

the Albany Empire in Deptford (A Touch Above) was brilliant in my early 20s, might be still there.

T's and Deja Vu was always good.

Was that not something like the "Alfred" - I know where you mean, though - walked past "it" today?

Either way, deffo a Prince Albert at the corner of Florence Road and New Cross Road - just checked on Street View! Think it might still be there, too. Was always a music pub. Cheers!

Is it true that at Casinos in Rochester you paid 12 quid entrance fee and then you could drink as much as you like? I wish they still did that now otherwise i wouldn't have to drink indoors before going out.

Gin Palace in the Old Kent Road was £15 to get in, free drinks all night, then they put the entry down to £10 and charged 50p a drink, we thought they were taking the right piss! ;-)
