Solly. Torn between Solly Yann and Morro in reasoning football speak but Solly then edges it on the emotional front as he's a youth product.

For me it's a clear cut straight tricast

    1: Solly
    2: Yann
    3: Wiggins
    This for me

Noone there at the Lansdowne mews end as was the case last three years, EPIC FAIL!
  • I'd have Solly 1st & Yann 2nd.
For those that think Yann may have edged it, remember he didn't play the 1st 7ish games of the season.
So if it's too close to call, surely Solly wins on more games played ?
Solly has been excellent but i think without Yann we would be right in the mix with the 2 Sheffields and not 6 points clear so it's Yann for me

Toss up between Kermo and Solly for me
  • Lots of vote collectors outside the ground today no excuse not to vote

As the official returning office the Liberal Club constituency I hearby declare the votes cast were as follows

    Ben Hamer 1
    Matt Taylor 1
    Danny Hollands 2
    Johnnie Jackson 3
    Rhoys wiggins 5
    Michael Morrison 5
    Yann Kermongant 11
    Chris Solly 43
    So it's close then? ;-)

I assume the Ben Hamer one was either a sympathy or a protest vote.
It was in a small child's handwriting. No really, it was.

The vote was from my four year old son who's favourite player is ben hamer. My little boy wears his hamer GK shirt with pride

It's interesting that for the first time in a decade we have a striker who has scored more than twenty goals for us, BWP hadn't had a single vote cast for him. Why is Yann's contribution seen as greater?
Because it has been ? Goals aren't always everything.
    But they certainly help!!

let's not forget that neither Mendonca or Hunt won the POTY, we love a defender at Charlton mainly because over the years that is what we end up doing most during a season !!
  • very difficult as there have been at least half a dozen who could win. Kermogant has been hugely influential, but my vote goes to Chris Solly. His consistency has been remarkable, his form has never dipped, no winger has got the better of him and he appears so calm and unrufffled( only 3 bookings) Surely he is destined to play at the highest level. Having said that I would not argue against Morrison, Wiggins, BWP(for his goals) or Kermogant.Give them all medals

Wiggins' assists (particularly in recent weeks) combined with his contribution in such a tight defence edges it for me.
    1 Wiggins
    2 Kermogant
3 BWP (20+ goals in a season is great in any division)

I didn't see anyone collecting votes last week as I was in the Celebration Suite. Last year people came round the hospitality suites, hopefully they will do the same next week, as I'll be in the Celebration Suite again.
