England win toss and Bat, Smith would have batted as well if he won. Should be a very good series if the weather holds.

Come on lads.

Got to bat through the first hour - keeps changing from bright sunshine to dark cloud cover.
  • Been looking forward to this series. Hope it lives up to expectation. I also agree a 5 match series would have been much better

Going on Sunday, it looks like the weather will be good then, whereas today and tomorrow there will be interruptions...

Trott & Cook are batting very well .. BUT .. this is surprisingly a very inept South African bowling attack .. and as I type this, Trott is out .. !!!!

Pretty flat looking track and the SA bowlers look a bit under-prepared.

I went today. Not convinced that we will get a result out of this series, as can see both teams cancelling each other out. Atmosphere was strangely flat for The Oval today as well.
