Regarding the Jimmy Seed stand. on forums elsewhere I asked if the away fans could be put into the corner of the East Stand or the West Stand and make the South Stand for home fans because the acoustics seem to benefit away fans. It seems it a question of segregation in and out of the ground. It just seems to me that when the North Upper goes quiet, the away fans, however big in numbers 'drown-out' the home support!

I think we've had about 10 threads on this over the years! Basically it would cost too much money. You'd have to have extra stewards to segregate the away and home fans in the same stand. You'd have to mess about with the turnstile entrances and ST holders would have to be moved. Not really worth it just to make the away fans sound quieter. Everybody just shout more. Easy!
Didn't realise about the threads. I'm relatively new on here. Also, my sons and I can't sign any louder in the North Stand, we are already known as 'The Strepsil Gang'. I think the singing and chanting has to be longer not necessarily louder!

and No family outings No girls No one with a flask No shy people No one who sits on thier own scribbling notes in the programme anyone else to be banished to the west stand?
surprised that so many people thought they were really loud. they had their moments but i thought the atmosphere from both sides was a bit down, for us thats understandable being a goal down. for them.....?

The atmosphere from our end was well below par long before we went a goal down. Most supporters just looked like they were sat there in a trance.
The Nigel's reminded me of one of those Japenese J League fan groups. Bizarre. Attention seeking teenagers.
The Men in Black turn out was obviously copying Man United's top firm. The muppets wouldn't have an original idea of their own.
Did I hear "eff off Millwall, South London is ours"? Have I missed something? They will come unstuck at some stage. Do they talk it up at the likes of Cardiff & Leeds?
I assume those setting off flares were captured by the stewards. Obviously against ground regs.
Pompey take some beating for noise in the away end.
"Millwall away to Middlesbrough yesterday. Didn’t know if it was at a
train station or on a train. Looks like it was on a train so that would
have to be some pretty good undercover work from that lot"
Genuinely don't believe any other fan base would come out with that bar them. Christ!
