I think you can tell which posters regularly go to away games!
Like I said, 500+ was a good turnout, I would be impressed if we did that, although we did sell out Swindon in the playoffs quickly despite the phone system crashing...
It's more the 8k they get at home turning into 35k for Wembley.
Doesn't every team do that though? Would you only take 18k to Wembley? How did your crowds rise so much when in the prem?
Would Manchester United continue getting 76,000 every week in the 3rd division?
Millwall have a limited fan base. We've got lapsed fans all over the world like every other team. I have family in Devon & Spain who now only go to these day outs, but were regulars in 60's to 80's.
Then there are loads who go less regular due to work, kids, home, wife, finances etc who only go to the big games now.
I don't begrudge them that, they paid their dues decades ago and are just as deserving as anyone else.
Of course there are those who just go for the day out, but many are simply lapsed fans.
576 to a midweek northern game at 3 days notice is very impressive. How many do you think we'd take?
At least 1.5 K. Our core support is much larger than millwall's.
We didn't even take 500 to Huddersfield last saturday, yet you think we'd take 1.5k to Blackburn on a wednesday at 3 days notice. Did we even take 1.5k to Blackburn the day we won the championship?

In 98 we averaged about 13-14k and took 33k to Wembley.
"Which way's the Old Kent Road?"
FFS no mate you deserve everything you get having them anywhere near you unless in gun range.
Yes.
