  • But has he taken his kid to Millwall and Palace yet?
  • Not sure I believe the story, but either way it's no big deal to take a baby to most places these days - some grounds even have baby-changing facilities. You can get ear-protector headphones for babies to deal with the noise and once they're warm and fed and comfortable, many will sleep just about anywhere. I took my then 6-month old to see Prince at Hop Farm (the number of buggies at the back of the field was ridiculous) a few years ago like this and didn't hear a peep out of her as she slept most of the time.

With a bit of planning - e.g getting to the ground a little bit earlier and hanging back a bit at the end - you can fairly easily avoid a bumpy crowd situation, especially if you know where to avoid. I wouldn't do it myself as it would be a hassle going to a game with all the paraphernalia you would need, but I say good on him for being that committed - and if the kid's Mum and his Ma-in-law were there to do their bit, really don't see the harm myself.

The 'new' baby was called Jack.

No way a Cardiff fan would call his son Jack. It would be like a Charlton fan calling his son Nigel.

This. If the guy was a regularly attending Cardiff fan there is no way in hell he'd call his kid Jack.

In the world where I live the mother seems to get a bit of a choice of these things though.

You're not a Cardiff fan who would have been singing "You Jack bastards, we're coming for you" last night.

Yeah. From what he tweets it doesn't seem that way. Often posts pictures of himself at San Siro, Dortmunds ground etc

I am sure that is a misconception. All advice from highly qualified people I checked with said there was absolutely no harm done by flying with babies

Fair enough. To be honest I couldn't care less whether being on a plane is actually harmfull to babies. I am sure they scream like that all day every day, just don't do it in a place where I have no choice but to listen to it just so their parents can get a bit of sun.
