Sonya one of the long term bar maids in the Oak back in the prem years always talked about the time Noel came in before a Man City game with a bodyguard. I think it would’ve been late 90’s and drank at the end of the bar as you go in to the right. Before the extension. Always thought that was cool and wished I had been in that day. 

I met Noel that day in the millennium lounge (?), he signed my programme. Alan White was in there most weeks.
