The Lomas appointment highlights the gap between English and Scottish football - well it does for me anyway.

How much does Powell trouser ?

I would guess at 10k per week perhaps a bit less. Any thoughts or knoweldge of this ?

He gets five loaves of bread and two fishes every week and somehow he manages to feed 5000 people with it.

Well a football manager we are told is a 24/7 job

So I hope it is more than part-time prothero :-)

2-3 grand a week I'd say. Still on the contract he signed when he became manager hasn't he? Why would we pay a rookie manager more than that at league one level?

Actually that's unlikely IMO, at least on a pro rata basis. But it's also very unlikely Prothero is an employee.

Interesting thread - if it helps I will summarise: nobody on here has a clue what Powell earns. :-)

Footballers' and football managers' salaries are often public knowledge as they work in a version of the public domain.

It would have been rude of me to ask Powell the question directly so I didn't.

If you want to start a thread asking people to speculate how much I earn then crack on.

SCP is on prolly two thirds of what his next job will pay him , when he moves to a club that is gonna go places rather than standstill

(Btw I'm happy for us to standstill for a few years of solidity but I'm not sure Sir Chris will be)

A specialist commercial area - Perm and Interim

    Average brief is c£65k / £400 pd

    Yes base and commission

Anyway re Powell - average sensible guess above is c£4k. Might not have earned a lot more than that as a player ?

I reckon your P60 says you pulled in £54k last year, although in reality you got a lot more.
