    Will Hay. No question.

Ooooh i am 1000% in agreement. His timing was almost spot on. His role was also helped by Moore Marriott and Graham Moffatt who were almost as funny as he was. The sly look, the awkward shuffle and baffled scratch were a big part of his act, which made him the best ever comedian.

I also really like George Formby too.

Not strictly a comedy character, but Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad makes me laugh out loud every time he speaks. "I'm gonna go out on a limb here..."

Lister was mentioned above, but I'd go for Rimmer myself!

The guys on Breaking Bad do a great job of brightening up such a dark show. I love Badger and Jesse as well "Great beans Mrs White..."
Jerwayne and Ashley from PhoneShop also Razz Prince

Homer simpson. Fat, stupid, bald, ignorant, bad father, bad husband, poor hygiene, lazy, selfish and basically every thing wrong with the world.
