We can't get a prem team according to the post above!?!

We can get a prem team, just not one involved in European competition...

    We can't
    We can.

" Premier League clubs enter the competition in Round Two with clubs that have qualified for the Champions League or UEFA Europa League joining in Round Three."
Have you still not read Welshaddicks post above about the seeding in round 2???????
What Im saying is you can draw a Premier League team in round 2, just not all of them...
    lol what???

No you cant. Charlton can only draw a team that finish below 12th in the Champ last season, as we are seeded.

''charlton cant play : Everton, Liverpool, West Brom, West Ham United, Norwich City, Fulham, Stoke City, Southampton, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Sunderland, Reading, QPR, Cardiff City, Hull City, Watford, Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Bolton Wanderers, Nottingham Forest, Charlton Athletic, Derby County, Burnley or Birmingham City.

One of Leeds United, Blackburn Rovers or Huddersfield Town (prioritised in that order) will also be seeded, dependent on tonight's results.''

Disappointed we can't draw Charlton. They're shit in the cups..
No big loss, heard the pies aren't very good, likewise the pubs.

    Swansea or Bristol City

    cant get Swansea ...

Best way to make this easy for everybody

    1. If you finnish in the top 25 positions in the league you are seeded group 1 (So these 25 teams cant draw each other)

    2. Euro league & Champions league dont enter untill round 3 (so 5 teams)

    3. We finnished 9 in the championship which means we are in the top 25.

    4. We can play anyone who finnished BELOW 12th in the championship.

    5. Round three that all changes we can draw a big team

Is that because Brighton are out?

I reckon we go out of this competition early on purpose to save people like me frying their brains trying to work out WTF is going on.

ps. I wouldn't mind Oxford away...it is two legs isn't it?

Who ever we get in the next round, at least we can go out with our heads held high for getting this far in the cup

    Sounds right.

Leeds at home could be good, they'll take loads down.

The second round is seeded. 7 teams get a bye then the top 25 teams left in the cup on last seasons league positions go into 1 pot and the lower ranked 25 teams go into the other pot. We having finished 9th last season will go in as a seeded team.

F'me, we're seeded in the cup. Gulp.
