  • Ppffft too many injuries, too many poor decisions on the day and a very strong Denver side. On to next season, get wilfork and Gronkowski back and draft a franchise WR and we'll do alright
  • Seattle win will privide a proper AFC west superbowl.
  • Happy for Peyton, he deserves another Super Bowl appearance

Happy for Champ Bailey. Been an absolutely amazing corner for 15 years and finally gets a shot.

True! Never seen the Shitehawks as an NFC team, still remember the days of Dave Krieg, when they had a very competitive team but never quite made that push. Even though Pete Carroll's a prick of some note, Harbaugh is even worse, so got to root for them. Best hope here is that, because they hate each other so much, they spend three hours beating the shit out of each other and whoever wins gets banged up before the superbowl.
  • 49ers - Seattle. Here we go. Heart says 49ers but head says Seattle. I think whoever runs it better and/or minimizes turnovers will win the game. This will be one tough game.
  • Been predicting Ne v SF for some time as that was my worst case scenario. Hope manning can get another ring in two weeks and hope it is against Seahawks. Denim and Seahawk anyone?
  • come on Seattle wake up.
  • Woken up now Abs
  • Denver strong favourites regardless of who they play in superbowl. If they do win hope manning then retires!

49'ers must have stood on a 4 leaf clover.

Strongly disagree. The winner will be from the NFC. Ultimately defence always wins the day.

Denver showed tonight they have the defence. With the ability to run the ball they can also control the clock. On top of that they have peyton manning.
  • We only have 2 more weeks to find out!
  • That did not look good for Bowman at all. Ouch.
  • Denver V Seattle it is then!
  • A couple of bad calls by the officials and Colin Kaepernick lost that for the 49ers. A couple of rushes to the head by the 9ers QB.

True - but if it weren't for Kaepernick they woukdnt have been in the game anyway. Seahawks are the better team - fancied them all season and, being the eternal pessimist that I am, I think their defense will be able to shut the Broncos down. Need to go early and often to Demariyus and Julius Thomas so that their, frankly, ridiculously-sized secondary don't get the chance to bully the rest of the wideouts. I dread to think how badly that oaf Chancellor would light Welker up if he gets an open field hit in on him across the middle.
  • So glad my wife and son are going to be in Seattle on the weekend of the Super Bowl and they are going to a SB party so as all her family follow the Seahawks and I have their jersey I have to say I hope they win.
  • Have not seen the Seahawks highlights yet, but on NFL.com it said of one of the 49ers scores as 'Colin Kaepernick answered with an electric drive including a ridiculous jump-pass 26-yard fastball for a touchdown.'

Looking forward to this Superbowl more than recent ones.

Hopefully Manning can get the job done although I dont actually mind the Seahawks.

Obviously the winners only keeping the trophy warm for the Raiders' renaissance next season.

Was an amazing game last night after the pretty boring Broncos - Pats game. Shame Kaepernick seemed to lose his head at the end a bit as he made some unreal plays. I don't particularly like Sherman or the Seahawks but his interview last night was hilarious, as a team they have a ridiculous "us against the world" mentality which seems to work for them.

Really not sure what to predict in the Superbowl. The Seattle secondary could completely bully the Broncos receivers but if Peyton gets the time he got yesterday he could also tear them apart. Think I would have to go to the Broncos at this point though as I don't think Wilson can quite keep up with Peyton even with the Seattle pass rush causing him issues that the Pats didn't.

  • If the final/SB is as badly officiated as was the Seahawks/49ers game, the Seahawks will walk it .. at QB it's a clash of cultures .. the new mobile all rounder in Wilson and the rather staid, shrewd, very accurate tactician in Manning .. it'll be a good one, but let's hope for a crew that can officiate properly .. I have never seen such a bad series of refereeing mistakes, VERY un-American .. during commentary it was mentioned that the senior official has recently been refereeing the finals of the college basketball championships .. as Troy Aikman commented at one point : 'soon he'll be calling someone for travelling'

  • Steratore's crew always make rickets. He's the Clattenburg of nfl officials. Not sure who will get the superbowl - would imagine it will be Mcauley or Hochuli - both had good seasons, and the nfl love grandpa Popeye.
  • I think Seattle's defence should wear the Broncos down. That and Marshawn Lynch should do the trick.
  • Gone for a broncos win -6.5.
  • Would love Manning to get another super bowl win, feel he deserves it. But can't see past the Seahawks today, the weather helps the defense a lot.
  • I'm off to the O2 Arena tonight to watch it. As a Pats fan I'm hoping that The Seahawks can supper Manning to another Super Bowl although to be honest he has been the best player this season and probably more than deserves it. I'm on a night shift tomorrow night so staying awake tonight should help me for work tomorrow.
  • The eternal pessimist in me says Seahawks by 6 in a snoozefest.
  • After round two of regular season I actually predicted this final and went for Seahawks to win.

Strong defensive teams usually win superbowls.
  • Seahawks by 7-12 points
