Went Dartford v Brentwood Town last night. 1.0 to Dartford, very early goal. Brentwood did everything but score 2nd half - was a beautiful night to watch football in my shorts! Saw Scott Wagstaff come on and was impressed how he organised those round him. He is 36 now and did well.
Freddie Sears came on for visitors - still going strong at 36 too!

Went to Raynes Park Vale v Merstham last night , FA Cup extra prel round replay. RPV 1-3 down with 10 mins to go then scored 3 and even missed a pen to win 4-3 in 96th minute. 1st game on Saturday finished 3-3. Good value for a tenner.2

The RPV chairman wants to ban swearing at football matches and kick out anyone who does lol admittedly he is a rich American. Watched Welling get their arses kicked at Leatherhead Tuesday night.
Interested to learn they beat their neighbours Dorking in a PSF, a local cup type game I believe.
Did you go Jimmy? Interested to hear what you think of them (Leatherhead).
Looked very well organised from what I saw.
Good Welling turn out 200+
With Leatherhead having around 400/500 of the gate, never seen a club like a beer as much as them.
Throughout the game always a queue.

Leatherhead took the lead, Dorking put their foot down and scored two. Then the gaffer took off most of the senior players and let the kids have a go. They fucked it. The gaffer went ballistic. I got a TikTok out of it that should make some good money! And I agree, the bars are not the quickest for service. Usually go to the pub after.
This pre-season has been a bit different for DW as they are almost entirely fitness-focussed which is unusual for them, and the hope is that they finally reduce the injury list. But it means they have been underwhelming in pre-season. Paid off last night though as they smashed Totton at their place.1 -

The Isthmian Football League confirmed it was postponing Maldon & Tiptree's matches against Cray Wanderers on Saturday and Brentwood Town on Monday.
