Dartford are very much my second team. Agree with most of what I've read here. Dartford look good for the play offs but Ebbsfleet, Maidenhead and possibly even Chelmsford may well prove too much. On the B side, they really aren't ready for tier 5, and the crowds aren''t up to it. Welling seemed more than capable in their games against Dartford. Losing Coombs was a big hit though, and the chairman seems to have a Duchatalet like knack of interferring i n the team. Despite the rivalry, I hope they stau up. Two good derbies, and Welling can play attractive football on their day. O just wish they'd defen ded at Park View the way they gid against Eastnourne.

Yes - Shitfleet and Maidenhead on their day would turn over all other sides - Chelmsford......horrid team to play - remind me of Wimbledon late 80's a la Dave Bassett - Darts better than them, but need to 'wise up' if we play them - cream always rises to the top.....we hope !!!
Enjoy non league football, but could never give up Charlton for it.

'money bags' maidstone went bust in 1995 as did Dartford - both clubs spent many many years after that homeless - in fact maidstone brought down Dartford
