  • dwight yokam very good, just done a gig at sheph bush emp.

I saw his first ever UK gig at Dingwalls in 1986. He' a bit of a cock to work with apparently, but a great artist.

Someone else worth checking out is my mate Stuart Warburton, his album Telemark is very good. Clever and witty songwriter too.
  • I saw the Byrds at the Roundhouse when they were doing their country thing, with Gram Parsons and they were fab.
Currently I like The Pines, who play a Missouri folk/country sound. Listen to their version of Dylans 'What good am I?' Can't plonk it on here though, sorry. Also like Eliza Gilkyson's cover of 'After the Deluge.' Not sure if this counts as country but is countryish...
