    Just started sons of anarchy. Loving it so far.
    Nothing will beat Breaking Bad though.

    Neither touch Breaking Bad, and to be honest, nothing ever has or will in my opinion, its the kind of show I will sit through again in 3 years, and sit through every few years.

    +1 for Walking Dead halfway through season 2.

    Initially liked Sons of Anarchy but thought the whole Irish plot was a bit crap and have lost interest. Will probably go back to it at some point.

    The sheild not many know about it but prob better than breaking bad.

    River monsters.

    It's about real fish e.g. the piranha. On Netflix it's brilliant. Not the fictional genre you was asking for though.

    Maybe watch a better written show - the sopranos and the wire are the two greatest written tv shows in existence.

    Just finished series 4 of Sons of Anarchy and agree it gets better. My only issue is that it recycles similar storylines throughout. I would say the writing is a little limited but its still a good watch.

    Game Of Thrones. Sex, brutal violence, sex, fantastic plotlines, sex, a quality dwarf, sex, sex, sex...

    The Wire. Amazing acting, plotlines and script, set amid the corruption, gangs, politicians, dockworkers and school system of Baltimore.

    Dexter. Brilliant (ignore the last season, which ends really, really poorly). If you don't know it's about a serial killer who kills other killers, you've been living under a rock for eight years.

    Well I never really watched any TV series before Breaking Bad but having been off work for 6 months, I can say the following were amazing to watch and match the incredible Breaking Bad;

    1. Top of the Lake
    2. The Following
    3. Bates Motel
    4. Broadchurch
    5. The Fall
    6. Homeland (First 2 series especially)

    Enjoy if you haven't already seen them!
