She is the agent of Standard Liege player Michy Batshuayi. Standard are said to be reporting the agent of this player. The agent now works for Standard Liege and Charlton Athletic. Weird.

Football agent and agent of a few Standard Liege players I assume. Must have good contacts in the game and already works for Standard Liege so knows how a football club works, or at least how one of Roland's works. I don't think she is an agent. The article makes it seem that way but I think it means she is the representative of SL rather than an agent of the SL player.The Red Robin said:

It would be interesting to know exactly what her role will be. There seems to be an assumption fed from AB's post that it is a 'Sporting Director' role, but this hasn't officially been confirmed.
With her legal background (see LinkedIn) and history at Standard, I would have thought it far more likely that Roland wanted someone he knows and trusts to act as his representative on the board, to keep an eye on things from a more strategic perspective.
I wonder if the reports about her being an 'agent' are perhaps a red herring - it looks like she has responded to the Batshuayi story as a representative of the club (i.e. Standard), and perhaps this has been misinterpreted (or lost in translation) by the English press.3 -
