  • Devastated!
  • Very worried
  • If that French bloke goes.

I'm all done for the season.
  • I love yann as much as the next person but if he would rather play for bournmouth than us , fuck him ,
And that was my favourite player for years !

Cawley; #cafc had previously made contract offer to Kermorgant but it was not at terms he wanted.

Irritated me a lot! So along with wanting Powell on a new contract he wants MORE money!
Who says it's more? Just says the terms aren't right. Might be less money, might be only one year, might not have a renewal clause in it.

Whatever you think of Powell's tactics, excuses, choice of headwear, surely everyone must agree that he deserves better than the circus he's had to front for the last couple of years.

Agree. Think the guy actually deserves get out of this club. We should be happy for him if it comes to that.

You're reading what you want to and assuming. How do you know he wasn't offered less or only a year and he wanted 2? Could be a number of things.

  • We're down. Brilliant. Cheers RD and Slater/Jiminez.

  • This has turned out a complete and utter joke.

Unless we suddenly spend 5 mil on 5/6 players we are down and it looks a lot worse in the long run if this is the way the club is going to be run (Selling our best players)
  • Powell is being undermined at every possible opportunity. Don't be surprised if he walks.

This club was being torn apart from the inside out behind the scenes by the previous owners. Now it's happening right in front of our faces. Complete contempt and no respect for every fan.
  • Well if this turns out to be true we better have a blinding signing up our sleeve or we are in big trouble.

Nobody is bigger than the club but our whole approach for nearly 3 years has been based on playing to Yann's strengths.
  • 4 seasons in league one again here we come.
  • whose running the show now, basically we're a feeder team for Standard Leige.. RD splashes his pocket money out, sends a few SL players over for their personal development, will force Powell to walk out as not being supported it's a bloody joke.. surely we match any potential signing on fee Yann would have received, match the wages and sign him on for another 2 years....
  • So we are selling our two best players. One to a potential relegation rival.

This will result in relegation. Back to League 1 where we will inevitably need a whole new team.

    Well played Roland.

Will the last one out, turn off the lights.
  • The only silver lining to this jet black p***ing hard cloud is that RD did the same thing at Standard and they are now running away with the league.

I only hope the funds are to be put to good use to secure some of S Jackson, Gradel, Grandin and Gucci to keep us up. This window will go down to the wire for us, but the people in charge of the club now are not amateurs when it comes to running football clubs, unlike Slater and Jiminez who put us in this position by letting the contracts run down.
  • Praying that we have someone like Chris Wood lined up with Reza and Jackson and then I wont be so annoyed.

Rumours doing the rounds on Twitter that a bid has been accepted for Yann.

The slight saving grace is that yann will hopefully turn the move down as he reportedly did to Celtic a year or so ago!

Accepting a bid from Bournemouth and Celtic is different , Celtic will not play us this season and cannot be dragged into the relegation mire.
have you looked at the league table recently?

at least we won't be playing Bournemouth next season.....
  • We want our Charlton back!

  • Just emailed my Dad with the news and he replied "A football team is for life, players come and go I'm afraid. We will survive and move on."

Its just not a nice journey haha

Honestly believe now that this Belgian bloke wants to start again with young academy players from all over his network. Don't think he cares if we go down. I think it is just one great big experiment from a multi millionaire statistician.
  • Wave bye-bye to your £20 million Roland if you carry on like this. We must have replacements lined up or this is a complete farce.
  • Feels like a bad dream all this , Iv gotta remember it's only football , before I shed a tear haha !

Didnt SkySports say yesterday that Brighton had put a bid in for Dale Stephens only for Chris Powell to come out in the News Shopper yesterday saying nothing of the sort had happened... Dont panic until its happened!! - Yann might not want to leave either we just dont know

i.e. like Stephens as well... the Kermorgant to Bournemouth link happened a few days ago... Why did he play yesterday if the offer was going to be accepted as had he been sent off or injured then the bid would have been jepordised
  • maybe the hoofball might stop now though... 8-)
  • Take Yann and Stephens out of our team and we really are lacking quality, our only 2 real creative players?

Big 48 hours or so coming up.
  • Playing devil's advocate for a moment, but maybe admin would've been a better outcome from this season - we'd definitely be down (as opposed to most probably), but potentially more appealing to a decent investor as opposed to a Dooshatelet (sic)
  • I am absolutely fuming.
  • Praying that we have someone like Chris Wood lined up with Reza and Jackson and then I wont be so annoyed.

I would take those 3 for Yann all day long.
