Two leagues apart as well. Which do you think is tougher? Think Ben kept something more like 21 in L1. It's almost like he's a decent keeper
  • Great news. Does make me proud to be Charlton when you see how many players come through our academy into the first team.

Could someone please list the players who are still out of contract in the summer?

dervite's a good defender... but i think we could get better. Wood's the same, remember those two were bought in simply because we had no other choice at the time. Cort is too old, especially after his injury problems this season.

Not sure if anybody is aware what a top keeper Dillon Phillips is.
  • I'm sure Dervite and Morrison will be offered new deals. Not so sure that Wood or Cort will. I can't believe that Hamer will not be offered one either. As for the rest ? Well I think that might depend on what plans the club has for next season.

I don't really buy that argument. The reduction in quality of the attackers' ability to hit the edges of the target is mitigated by the lower quality of the defence trying to stop them. There are probably more high balls into the box the lower you go down the divisions.

For me the goalkeeper position is the one least affected by the quality of his own defence and opposition.
  • Good news. Poyet next please... I have the feeling he will leave.

Think he would of stayed if Powell was still here.

Does anyone think that Fox would have signed a three year deal if he was rumored to be wanted by Arsenal and Barcelona?

I am very impressed with Morgan, but he is not, at this moment in time, considered to be anywhere near as good as Poyet - who I fully expect to leave this summer.

Based on that logic Pope who has 14 clean sheets is better than Lloris 12 De Gea 11 and Hart 10

Come off it. Daniel Nardiello's goal attempts are equivalent to Luis Suarez's as long as he's playing Gary Doherty not John Terry?

Good news but I'm keen to hear about Poyet, Hamer, Morrison and Dervite signing up. Maybe they are all waiting to see how this season ends.

Thing is those "new" would have to be quality high end championship standard signings, not more young players from Europe like we got in January.
