Seems a bit early to be making any announcements. I wonder if there's some news beyond the design of the kit. Alternatively, it is April 1st tomorrow.

    I thought that....and now you've mentioned the 1st April.....reckon it'll be blue

    I like this

Some will slate it as "boring polo shirt" but that's what a home shirt should be IMO. Leaving the messing about for the away and third kit

The club will reveal the new home kit for 2015/16 later this week. Traditionalists will be disappointed that the kit will again feature red shorts. The shirt will be Nike's Laser II design and will be very similar to that of the Chinese national team:

The Addcks use three kits these days:
One of the away kits will be all white, with a diagonal red sash on the shirt.

The other will be purple and very similar to the purple kit Manchester City use for away cup-ties.

The club signed up to a four year deal with Nike that will expire at the end of next season. Charlton will not be renewing the deal

If there are red shorts again this season (I hope not) then a nice little petition will be in order methinks for white shorts.

    Why the red shorts?

I don't get the problem with the Red shorts. We play in red and white. The shorts are Red. Now, if they changed them to blue or pink with yellow spots then I'd have a problem with that but Red? I'm okay with.

I think we had red shorts when I started supporting them around the 66 season when we finished third to Derby and Palace.

And another one just highlighting the home kits

Only once in the past have we had red shorts from 68-70. Therefore we should always have white shorts!

An April Fools, something like "this seasons Liege kit will be sent over in the summer for us to use from next season" would be good.
I can just imagine the meltdown on Twitter.

As long as it ain't Ertha Kit...
  • Do you think they'll say that the University of Greenwich / Andrews Air Conditioning sponsorship has been replaced by Viagra and Durex for next season after their last cheeky joke?

I like the Laser II kit being suggested as the next home kit.

Shame Nike don't do fat sizes as I'd have bought that for use on my cycle commute.

Red shirts, please. Simple collar, perhaps in white. No fancy stuff. NO STRIPES.
White shorts. I like the red and white hooped socks. Old School. Cheers.
