Star Wars, the one with teddy bears in it, for kids whereas Star Trek is believable Lord of the rings and all hobbit shit, what is that all about? Avatar, oh dear! Battlefield Earth, Travoltas worst Godfather 3, Sophia Copplas performance
The Happening, Wahlberg's acting a joke. Mamma Mia (yes, I should know better), a four minute story line into a 100 minute pile of tosh. Indiana Jones 4, such a let down after waiting so long (with an added bonus of Ray Winstone playing Ray Winstone). Carry on Columbus, enough said. Blair Witch Project, the only film I have almost nodded of too in the cinema.
Mamma Mia - I don't even... John Carter - wtf? Atonement - was bored shitless after about 20 minutes. Oscar winning my arse. Matrix Revolutions - the sequels ruined a great first film Death Proof - 20 minutes of fun then a ridiculous 2.5 hours of a car chase ending in a ludicrous kung fu scene. I will never get that time back.
Saw some of my favourite films in this thread..... So opinions do vary greatly.
If it's a list of films that received rave reviews but I just didn't 'get', I will say Silver Linings Playbook, Midnight in Paris and Seven Psychopath.
The worst films I've watched in recent years are probably London Boulevard, Revolver and an indie film called Tenderness starring Russell Crowe.
Dune. Was taken to a premiere along with the cast and crew so couldn't exactly walk out. Will always be considered my worst movie watching experience. Saw the DVD on sale in a shop in Phuket this week for 39 baht (75p). No, wasn't tempted. I nominate this film five times.
Titanic - better to have gone down with the ship than watch that rubbish Kill Bill- how many arms have to be cut off in the name of art? Anything featuring 'a man trained to kill' with less 24 hours to save America Anything featuring a 'rookie cop' and his veteran partner with a drinking problem who combine forces to save America/New York/Washington/Texas etc Anything with that weedy bald git in the vest saving anyone in anything called 'die hard/hard now/die now/hard on' etc etc
1. Jack and Jill Adam Sandler delivers one of the most embarrassing performances ever. I had to switch it off. 2. Peter's Friends Histrionics and cringeworthy bunch of brits show Sandler the way to do it. 3. Lethal Weapon Some australian waving a machine gun around in a city and firing indescriminately. 4. Gone with the wind. Three hours of misery about a bunch of slave owners. 5. Jack and Jill Sandler is the acting equivalent of Simon Church.
A seemingly endless vacuum of nothing, much like space itself.
Oh yes, Gravity was dull dull dull. Any of those films that are made just to show off whatever technology is flavour of the month are doomed to failure - especially if that technology is the woeful and nauseating 3d effect.
As for Gravity it was always destined to be awful with the casting of Sandra Bullock. Talking of whom: Speed. What a borefest that is. 2 hours of movie based around one dilemma and a couple of stunts. Absolute tosh.
Some of the films on here amaze me. But each to their own. Princess of mars-truely truely awful Grown ups-how is this funny in any way Aftermath-one of the most depressing films I have ever seen, although it is Danish and they love that sort of stuff Dare devil, the new batman... Really Someone has already mentioned this one, but Battlefield Earth... What a pile of sh1t. Crap storyline that barely starts to roll before the film ends. I have seen some awful films that I cannot recall (thankfully) but even then I think Princess of Mars and Battlefield Earth would beat all of them, hands down...
I laughed at the mention of The Room earlier, it is a truly awful film but hugely entertaining if you like so-bad-it's-good stuff. To quote, "it is the Citizen Kane of bad movies." Therefore for a variety of reasons I'm going for:
Madagascar Going Overboard (a £1 Woolworth's Adam Sandler special) Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back Species II Speed II
Honourable mention to the Twilight 'saga'. Oh, and any of the Scary Movie lot.

Lord of the rings and all hobbit shit, what is that all about?
Avatar, oh dear!
Battlefield Earth, Travoltas worst
Godfather 3, Sophia Copplas performance
Training day
Sleepless in Seattle
Big momma house 2
Football factory
Epic movie is the worst film of all time. Then would follow any film that's a pre 1990 western film. Can't stand any of them.
Wimbledon
Goal
Escape to victory
actually nearly all sports films (exception being a few race horse films)

Mamma Mia
Pearl Harbour
Green Street
Love Actually
All Oceans films
Pirates of the Caribean 3 - loved the first one and quite like 2 and 4 but 3 was just horrendous.
Battle Los Angeles - all the action was in the trailer. The film itself was crap
2012 - just one great big CGI fest. Fell asleep.
Anything with Winstone in it.

(Although he would be good in the lead role of a re-make of Pinocchio.)
